I haven't been on here in a while and just noticed this topic through Google.
My 2 year old cat Dolly has started going into this coma sleep mode. But the only times she does it is when she's looking for attention and a nice massage later at night and then gets comfy by herself before falling...
I decided to try brushing Wren to see if she's no longer afraid. When I went over to her she started sniffing the bristles and then rubbed her face against them. I started brushing her back as I rubbed her chin and she stayed still much more!
Just a few minutes ago I was in the living room...
The way you described it, "wiggle and turn", is very much like Wren. She'll go in circles as I rub her back, she'll flop on her side as I start to rub her chin. The only time she'll stay still is while rubbing her belly, which would be no longer than 30 seconds.
Sometimes I wonder if she could...
Over the past few months I've given Dolly and Wren some new things to play with. Dolly has been the one going crazy with them.
Items include:
half of the core of a roll of toilet paper
crumbled balls of paper
core of a roll of packaging tape
pen cap
During the night when Dolly gets hyper...
Wren got rid of the scabbing on her back now. I've been feeding her 1 can of Iams wet food a day. Canned foods have been fish based. I looked at dry foods to see which ones were gluten free and the only one I found was Iams Proactive Health. Proactive Health is meant for seniors but as I said...
No I haven't
My other cat isn't as bad as Wren with all the scratching, grooming, and nibbling. I've started feeding Wren all wet food cause I noticed the dry food has gluten corn in it. She's started quieting down now and not nibbling as much.
My tuxedo cat Wren scratches, grooms, and nibbles herself often. She has started developing scabbing along her back.
I got rid of all the fleas that were invading my place last summer. What could be her issue?
Hi everyone. I haven't been on here in a while.
Good news I have is my tuxedo cat Wren has woken up to being close to me and now meows for attention. Whenever I give her attention she won't stay still LOL. Other news is my long haired tabby Dolly now has her evening and night time hyper...
A few other things with Wren are chewing on cardboard, using Dolly's tail as a toy, playing the bed game, and acting as if she sees something moving but there isn't.
