I have this same carrier (in red) for Mia. She is very comfortable in it as she will nap in it during the day.  lol   She doesn't mind getting in it to go places either. It might be because she can see all around herself at whats happening.

I feed Mia a half can of wet food(5.5 oz can) every morning first thing. I cover the rest with a lid (walmart pet ile) for the next day (heated 10 seconds in Microw wave). The rest of the day she Free Feeds on dry food. She is 3 and not fat at all. She regulates her own food intake just fine.

I have never had a problem setting up a second box. I just put it where I wanted and showed my cat where it was and both were used after that. Cats are very smart.

I fed dry also. My Mia does not like canned.

When my Mia was little I had her on TOTW and she had horrible stinky gas within a couple days after starting her on it. I finished the bag and then started her on Purina One Synsitive  Systems (she got sick on everything else) and no more gas or being sick!

My Mia was through about everything, wet and dry, her first year. I finally decided to try Purina One Synsitive Systems and she has been doing great. She does the worst on wet foods (constant diarreah) and grainfree dry. Every cat is different! Hope all gets better soon!  :)

I have to unpack my Walmart or anything like it bags right away when I get home. As I unpack Mia is trying to eat them. This happens so quickly I cant stop her sometimes. I always find it in her BM in the litter box the next day. She has never thrown it up though.

I freefeed mia dry. She grazes all day and some at night. She eats about 2/3 cup every 24 hours. She is a normal weight.
