I'm a bit late on replying, since I'm searching this forum for something else and came across this thread I thought I'd post a quick suggestion regarding collecting urine samples and treating UTIs.
My late CKD girl Roni had MANY UTIs over the years, she was getting Baytril resistant since that...
Roni only does it rarely - but it's in the morning so it makes me late for work. Hmmmm... let's see, get up for work or snuggling with the sweetest cat ever. Hands down the cat wins!
That must be it, thanks! The person that was telling me about it was saying that the urine would cause it to turn to sawdust for clump removal.
Thank you!
@Willowy, we must have cross posted. That makes sense for the respiratory warning in a pet enclosure, especially if their little faces were...
My dearly departed Len used to do the paw thing (like @HeatherNichelle's kitty). He always had to be touching me, whether it was leaning up on me or just one paw touching my leg... it's like he had to know I was there. I've never heard of the sleeping, though. Cutie cats. they don't even know...
This might be ther wrong section, sorry - but it's a follow up to a VERY long post that I have in this sectionsomewer in my euthanasia-at-home thread, someone (@Red Top Rescue?) mentioned a horse stall litter at Tractor supply for $8.99/40 lbs.
Is it the pine...
So does mine! I accidentally fall asleep after my alarm goes off at 5:40 and if I'm not out of bed by 6:10, there she is - in my face waking me up! I can practically count on her.
But this AM we had a change of events. It was cold in my BR and I lifted up the covers - she went under them, spun...
These are great! I love funny cat things like these. :)
I had a cat, Cassie, and we had a game where we would both crouch and hide on opposite sides/corners of the kitchen countertop areas. We could not see each other at all, but knew the other was there... lying in wait for the other to...
What a sweetheart, both of you and your vet. Herman is a very lucky dog to have been sent your way by Wilbur and Henry, he must be very special.
I hope he continues to heal up nicely, and I'm happy that he had brought joy to your heart and keeps your other loved ones spirits' alive.
Wishing...
OK, all kitties are cute - and all kitties have thier cute things that they do. Some are very uniquely adorable and make your tummy-tickle-cute.
What is you kitties funniest/cutes thing that he/dhe does?
I'll start. My Roni loves it when I whistle songs to her. If she is on my lap she gets up...
What a story! And he looks so much like Henry :rbheart:
:heart3: to you both. You just know Henry and Wilbur were behind this somehow :-)
So proud and happy for you for saving that sweet, lost soul.
Yea, with my Poncho - we lived close to a guy that kept a small bird sanctuary of types in his yard. Paoncho was an avid hunter. I think they guy did something nefarious to my little Poncho - he was so friendly, he'd go up to anybody. Of course, nothing could be proven. But one thing I did learn...
Awww... you have had some tough losses. It's always really hard when they get outside and never come back, because you don't know what happened - or maybe the will return. I had one years ago, Poncho, who vanished outside never to return. I was living with my now-ex (at the time I was waiting...
