I have not been on this site in so long. But I remember Cindy.
God bless your little angel. I also have lost kitties recently and the wounds are still fresh. I wish you peace and the knowledge you did all that could be done for her.
God Bless her and you and your husband.
Oh my goodness..Poor Kitty!
What was the treatment you used? It was a flea treatment?
In a case like this I would get a second opinion. Poor kitty is suffering and I can tell you second opinions have helped me numerous times. New eyes looking at the problem can only be a good thing.
I urge...
There probably are cases where these things have helped.
However, when it comes to my animals, I rely on modern veterinary medicine. My animals cannot tell me if they are feeling better, so I take the tried and true route.
We have little "critters" in our ceiling.. prob mice. They can barely be heard, but Beeba will suddenly stare at the ceiling. It isn't something he sees, rather he hears it.
So your cat probably hears something rather than sees something.
Hi..well first I want to say she is a beautiful girl!
Yes, they don't jump as high as they used to. I look at aging humans and cats are no different. They start to catterwall at night or really any time. I have Angel who is probably 14. I think she is going deaf and she has started that...
This left me with tears also.
I am positive Muffin is with Max and Speedboat. Muffin knew he was loved and wanted for nothing. All animals should have people like you and your husband. God Bless you.
Run and jump at the Bridge, dear boy..lots to do and you are wrapped in love here and in...
Welcome to the Cat Site.
You do not say how old your kitten is or his weight. Tomorrow being Monday, please try to get him to the vet. He definately needs professional medical care. there could be many things causing his peeing. You can only know by getting him to the vet.
As for cleaning...
I think of you and Muffin often. So glad to hear he is doing better.
It can't be said you are not devoted to that little guy. I know we have all grown to love him too.
Continued prayers
Hi...I took in my daughters outside kitty, Frank. Well this am, he vomited up round worms and the vet confirmed it when I took them in for them to look at.
He is a new boy here. Had him neutered through a low cost spay neuter. Well, vet won't give meds unless I bring him in. But she...
Has he been seen by the vet since you have had him?
I wouldn't take chances with breathing problems. If he were mine, I would be making an appointment today. If it is a problem, these things can go from bad to worse very fast.
I certainly do not want to alarm you, but I lost a kitty to heart...
Are you able to pick the kitty up and put in carrier? I know of no vet that would come and pick a kitty up so you will have to do it.
There are organizations that will loan you a Have a Heart trap. Ask your vet if they can refer you to someone who owns one. My vet refers people to me for my...
Oh Barb...God love you and Muffin. So sorry to read all the updates.
I can't offer any suggestions but you all are in my prayers. You and Muffin certainly fought the fight with all you have. Muffin is comforted by your gentle presence. Always there for him. I know how hard this is for you...
I am so sorry for you and your kitty. Did the blood work include tests for hypothyroidism, diabetes?
Can you isolate him for a day and see if he is peeing and pooping? Were his teeth checked? Was a urine sample taken?
But if it were me, I would be getting a second opinion since he has not...
My cat, Farley V was a horror at the vet. He wasn't that friendly with us so you can imagine what he was like.
I would give him a sedative pill before leaving for the vet, but when they are that wound up, it didn't help much. The vet would attempt to wrap him in a towel, but you cannot give...
There are things called rodent ulcers that make the lip puffy. They can be treated.
In the meantime, I would not have a cactus or ivy around my kitties. Unfortunately, too many plants are toxic and it isn't worth the danger for our animals.
Please let us know how your little one is and good...
