    Poo

Is there a cat food out there that is more "efficient" than the Nutra Max Adult cat food that I currently use? I would like a cat food that is healthy for my 1 year old cat, yet yields the least amount of poo. I really don't want a "wet" can food -- he's never liked it but does love dry food...

    Yesterday News cat litter question

Thank you everyone for the good information. I appreciate it. Our cat doesn't seem to mind the pellets so we'll see how it goes.

    Yesterday News cat litter question

I bought a bag of Yesterday News cat litter (http://www.yesterdaysnews.com/) for our cat. Yesterday News is similar to Feline Pine in that it's a pellet but instead of compressed pine it's compressed recycled newpaper made into pellets. I got tired of all the dust from clay litter products...

    Question about Cat snacks

What is a healthy and non-fattening treat that can be typically found in someone's pantry or refrigerator? I'd like to give our cat a snack/treat in between meals but I want it to be something that is non-fattening for him. and something already found in the house (tuna?). Thank you.

Kitten becoming a Cat: Cat Food Question

Our 12 month-old kitten will be a 1 year-old next week. He's been eating dry Nutra Pro Max for Kittens (or something like that). We got him when we was just 7 months old. He was skinning as a rail when we picked him up from the Humane Society but now he's turned into kind of a fat cat. We're...

Why do cats constantly lick themselves?

I'm sitting here watching my cat lick various parts of his body: a leg, a paw, his tail, his stomach. He does this from time to time but I don't know why. Why do cats constantly lick their fur/hair?

    Won't be online very much

A couple of thoughts for you to consider during a financial crises. These may be things you've already thought of/taken care of. None of these things are in any particular order. Just random thoughts I have. In times like this we all need to carve out the unnecessary "fat" that we think we...

    Won't be online very much

Gees, I am really sorry this is happening to you. Prayers sent. Isn't there some govt. agency that can help you with this -- even at the federal level? Or is that what you're talking about? In UT that can't just shut off your power during cold weather months. I hope you find a solution soon...

Urgent - meowing - please help!

By the way, our cat MEOWs like crazy. We've gotten use to him doing it but it does get a little annoying at times but he's such a good kitty. My wife is not a cat person, but my three sons and I are. She tolerates the meowing but if she had it her way she'd send the cat back. She's been out...

What's a good cat toy for Christmas?

I'm looking for something that will entertain our 9 month-old male -- something he can play with by himself. I remember seeing this battery operated ball toy that shoots a ball around in circles. Also, why doesn't catnip do anything for our kitty? He could care less about it.

Urgent - meowing - please help!

Good idea. Also, is there a friend or family member you could give the cat to? Then you'd get to see your kitty. Don't let a kitty get between you and your husband.

Urgent - meowing - please help!

Take the cat back to the HS. The only advice I can give is to remember that the relationship you have with your husband is far and away more important than that of a pet. Now is the time to worry about that. You can get another cat later on, if possible.

Can our cat make do with just one litter box?

You may want to try and consolidate into one box. Knock on wood, no accidents today.

Can our cat make do with just one litter box?

No. We completely dump the litter about every 3 weeks. That would get expensive. We clean out the litter boxes once a day. I mislead on the weekly statement. That is incorrect.
