My three cats travelled 24 hours in a plane from England to New Zealand and were clean and dry on arrival. In fact, they would have spent more time than that as 24 hours was just the flight... possibly another hour prior to takeoff and certainly another after they landed.
They had access to...
Thanks for that... my gingers are both girls! Now the odds of getting one ginger girl were remote, but two?? When I took them to the vet when they were babies to be neutered boys, they both came back as spayed girls.
They have both been to the vet and nothing seems to be the problem...
haha! Proud mummy time... here's some better pictures of her...
Well, she's hardly climbing walls is she? I think she's settled :-)
and my favourite pic of all...
Well, I've been trawling google images and found this beautiful cat on this site...Cattery of British Chinchilla
No disrespect to the owners of this kitty, but he could be the twin of our Luna. I must try and get a better picture of her - the flash washes out the gorgeous dark grey shadowing...
Thanks for the advice guys... I haven't noticed anymore wierd eating and she's now used the litter for its original purpose.
A trip to the vets is scheduled for next weekend as we need to spay her and have a swollen paw looked at - there's a swollen spot appeared over her eye too, but that...
We have a routine in our house - because we can't figure out which of the ginger cats is peeing in the house, they are both now sleeping in the garage. They are perfectly happy in there and annoyingly enough, haven't pee'd in there either
Now, this leaves our Willow rather bereft in the...
My newest kitty, Luna, is eating the kitty litter - I've never had a cat do this before. She also licked the metal flue pipe of our (thankfully off) woodburner - is she lacking something?
The kitty litter is made from NZ Zeolite - a mineral based litter - looks like little white stones.
Luna...
Can anyone help? My boss and his wife are Canadian and currently resident in New Zealand. I have flown my cats out from the UK to New Zealand, but don't know if the Canadian exporting is different from the UK...
They wish to take their mother's cat and ship it to them in New Zealand because...
Song lyrics... I could be here all night...
Robbie Williams - come and hold my hand, I want to contact the living...
Depeche Mode - all I ever wanted, all I ever needed is here, in my arms...
Pink Floyd - I have become comfortably numb.
Tired now, I'll think of some more tomorrow... night!
My dearly departed Grommitt embarrassed me terribly in front of a young man I was trying desperately to impress (many moons ago!).
After our date, the young man came up for coffee and Grommitt scooted across the living room carpet on his bottom and left the biggest smear!
I never saw him...
Funny, I never found that. I had fruit cravings whilst pregnant.
1st child - apples, anything apple donuts, apple tart, apple pie...
2nd child - oranges. I ate eight large oranges in one sitting once!
3rd child - melon. Cut in half, eat with dessert spoon straight from the rind! Sometimes...
Oh me too! And when it's lovely and dry, I fold it to put in the laundry basket so it doesn't get wrinkled and then dump it on my bedroom floor until no-one has any underwear left and I get sick of trawling through the massive mound of laundry!

Thankyou Leslie,
Now people can see why I want to take her! This home does sound wonderful though. They have passed a homecheck already through the Long Haired Cat Club, but I will be taking her there personally to see for myself. Of course, no-one can take as much care of your kitties as...
So much to organise, so little time...
Have had quotes in for the animals, still have to find them somewhere to kennel until we can call them to NZ. Have had Pickfords give a quote for removing and storing the furniture.
Now all I have to do is have my baby (due end of April), sell the house...
