Thank you ladies! Last night we tried a little bit of wet food with the pill crushed and were pleasantly shocked she ate it! She hasn’t touched wet food in 5 years! Not gonna toot the horn too loud but hey… hope!!

Has anyone tried and have any luck with Pepcid Transdermal? I have a feeling I know the answer but gosh I hate to start pilling our Molly. So far she turns her nose at pill pockets and she won’t eat any kind of wet food to hide meds in. She has Transdermal Cerenia and it seemed to work for her...

Thank you for your responses! I feel the vet surely would have told us if we needed to wean and I had planned on just stopping until I saw someone on a Facebook page mentioned they just weaned their cat off Cerenia. I thought that seemed strange .

Molly has mild pancreatitis and her flare up ceased so vet said we can stop the cerenia to see how she does but didn’t mention weaning her off . We use the transdermal cream on her ear if that makes a difference . Anyone else have experience with stopping cerenia? Thanks!

Watch out for toxic plants! I actually thought Molly had a bad batch of food as she wasn’t herself..not interested in her food… so threw her food out …then noticed her new bag had a formula change! She had diarrhea and threw up once every morning !So we searched for the old formula and found one...

Interesting as we opened a fresh bag of the original that she was used to and she snubbed it and only ate a very small amount then started laying around and not feeling well so we ditched the whole bag thinking it was off. That’s when we got a new bag and she began to eat it it but started...

Have you found a solution? The formula for Proplan was changed too and we may have to switch to a different brand . 🥴

Thank you for the tips! Whether she had a bug or bad food batch, she bounced back and we were able to find a fresh bag of her old formula to gradually mix in the new and no more diarrhea and she is back racing through the house! Whew!!!

Thank you.. appreciate your input. She won’t touch human food or even lick tuna juice from a can 😊. We got her when she was 8 so she was pretty set on her ways. I do like that idea of getting her used to different brands. Thanks again!

Wanna run this by y’all and ask for input . Molly, (12), was eating great .. very healthy but after opening a new bag she wasn’t herself… nibbling here and there .. a throw up once every few mornings … then could tell she was laying around on my lap not feeling herself so was planning a vet...
