My big boy, Douglas, will come in about 4:00 am every morning and start lifting my fingers with his claws and putting his head under my hand so I will pet him. He is persistent, if my hands happen to be under the covers he will keep digging until he finds them...sometimes he'll let me take the...

These two boys were rescued ferals and lived the first 8 weeks of their lives in the wild...I suppose that is why they do have a language that they use for each other...you can tell the difference in which boy is calling the other and it is totally different than the voice they use to talk to...

The best place to find a wonderful companion would be at your local shelter...you will find many adult cats that already have been neutered and have had their shots...there is a small adoption fee and there is nothing more exciting than gaining a new companion...remember, this is for life... D...

I guess it depends on how close of friends you are..But I think the owner must know if their cat is overweight and it is not my business..I take care of my own cats and I feel it is the same as saying your kids are fat or you are fat. Just my opinion, though. D & D's Mum
