I've had a cold this last week, and for the first time really since we adopted her, miss Vi came in and snuggled next to me (only to steal my body warmth that is. In amongst enjoying the sweet moments (you know, between the shredding) I somehow captured this elegant moment :D
That's a lovely description :) I think it also helps that i'm breaking in a new phone lately with a better camera and also the weaving has these little gaps as you can see to let in some sun...enhances her prettyness (not that she needs enhancing!). I tell you what...it's worth laying flat down...
The timing when sun's out and 6 months after buying this cat cave (she's been using as a scratching post) she FINALLY decides to sleep in it! I kid you not...lmao.

Same here. I could not do it myself but it was a lovely tribute for you. Charlie was the first of all our cats I decided to have cremated (for the same reason you'd mentioned about not wanting him to be left behind..all others were buried at various homes). I didn't even want to touch the ashes...
Vi is asleep on my bed. She rarely went on my bed since adoption. I bought a maroon coral jacquard blanket last week...she'd been on there every day! :D
He is absolutely adorable! Actually while i'm here, what is the difference between medium and long haired? If your cat has the toe and ear tufts..but the fur lengths vary from her back to her side to her pantaloons etc...do you say medium or long? Confuzzling!
Is this an American thing? Never in my 34 yrs on this planet have I ever heard about people flushing with their feet. Also...even if I had heard of it, I can't reach the button with my foot! Some of those things are chest height! Not to mention small and flat.
I think most if not all here can relate. I felt the same when Charlie passed end of Aug 2016. He was in my life for 17.5 yrs. And though he had some other typical old cat issues, like your kitty he had a cancer that seemed to go steady for months and then went downhill quick. Unfortunately I...
I used a slicker brush. Only one I used on Charlie who was a shorthair, and now on Vi who has very fine long hair. They pick up alot of undercoat. Have you seen them? They have a crap tonne of very fine wire angled bristles. You also don't need to brush very hard for it to work. My exp anyway :)
If there's ever been a vacation that means days away from home, then there is still someone here. If all of us are out it's only during the day (work/shopping etc) so she's probably alone for 12 hours at the longest and that is very rare. I couldn't imagine 5 days worth of litter poop! Hopefully...
Well we've ordered the spray anyway. Hoped someone would have used this product before for this reason. Same brand and ingredients as the diffuser which I know is a popular products. *le sigh*

Hmm, considering i'm human I doubt the feline pheremones will work on me. .. Also should have mentioned she does not react to cat nip unfortunately.
Thanks but I actually posted in that thread not long ago and have read every single post including the links. I want to know if anyone has combined the Feliway temporary calming spray with trimming time.
I did do a search but not too much came up. So, Violet is not one to enjoy cuddles so the burrito method (or simply just holding her in place) won't work. I was wondering without having to go with the option of temporary anxiety meds, if the Feliway calming spray could assist me in trimming her...
