One of my default dinners, i.e. veggie hummus wrap with a sweet potato. DH had a quinoa burger sandwich on an onion roll w/swiss and lettuce plus tater tots. Honeycrisp apple for dessert.
And that's what counts! He's figured out a routine that suits him so he's still alert too. Deb and you are doing the right thing letting him tell you what he's comfortable with and what brings him pleasure. :catlove:

We had a handyman come over to do some work. Carleton wasn't afraid of him since he likes visitors and the handyman has two cat of his own. But when he started using the drill Carleton froze and his ears went up and down. 🙀

While mowing the lawn yesterday DH found a blue egg on the ground near a bush. I'm pretty sure it's a robin's egg. We thought the nest must be nearby but didn't see it in a tree. Sure enough it was set back in one of the evergreen bushes with the mother nestled on top.
