Fleas!! The mystery lump is an allergic reaction to fleas. The vet says if this is how she reacts we haven’t had them long and the house isn’t infested they combed Audrey head to toe even between the pads on her feet and only found 2. We are treating her and Jasper as a precaution. Audrey has...
I have a klenex thief, and a hair elastic thief in my home. Who knows why cats do what they do. Jasper will steal klenex out of the box or the trash, in order to give them to the dog for her to eat (yeah gross I know)
Audrey tries to steal elastics even if they are still wrapped around my pony...
If mine really like their food they tend to "neom, neom, neom" vocally when eating. But I have heard of cats taking their "precious" food to a place they feel secure. Its part of their wild nature, they are protecting the tasty morsels from any perceived threat
Yes I will I am taking her to see the Vet today, it has gotten slightly larger I am hoping its a cyst or granuloma, she is a relatively healthy cat so this is very out of sorts.
i am of course going to take her to the vet but Audrey has developed a strange lump under her nose. I would say swelling but it’s more solid.
She has had issues with kitty acne in the past. But this looks nothing like it, she is about 13 years old and only indoors. Any ideas?
you would think in my 30+ years of owning cats I would know the answer but calico cats are still mysterious.
I know Calicoes are 99% female however the definition is a cat of 3 or more colours which leads to my question...
Jasper is a 6 year old male orange tabby from appearance sake. He however...
Jasper is now 6 years old, he has recently become a, well for lack of a better description a "little shit" when it comes to my kitchen cabinets.
At night he proceeds to open the cabinets knock whatever doesn't interested him to the ground, including but not limited to, tea, coffee, chips...
You could pet Audrey's belly till she starved to death she absolutely thinks it is the best thing in the world. She jumps up beside a person and immediately flips over begging for a belly rub and loves people with long nails lol
Both of my cats love belly rubs which to me is odd, they don't mind me touching their paws but would rather I leave their tail alone, they like to move their tails slot to show their moods.
A history of cats in my life a lot of them did. It appreciate the belly rubbing, when getting to know...
Most cats I have had in my life have an almost euphoric experience when you scratch them on the back at the base of the tail. It's one of those places they can't reach all that well.
Jasper loves it he gets all googily eyed and I could scratch him into unconsciousness. Audrey on the other hand...
Hi Everyone,
I have not been on here in a while but I am looking for advice. My 12 year old DSH Audrey over the last 4-6 months has been loosing fur. I have some to the conclusion she is plucking it out herself from the base of her tail and the backs of her legs. I have made sure there is no...
Jasper has had a rough month, he was in the vets for over a week recovering from crystals in his urine, he was completely blocked so he was catheterized, on an IV and had a feeding tube.
Since he ha been home he has been on antibiotics, Vicodin and a vet's diet Royal Canin C/D which is supposed...
My Poor Jasper has been having one heck of a week, 2 visits to the vet with crystals, this second visit they are saying he has scar tissue in his penis and may need to have a Perineal Urethrostomy (Basically making my male cat a female)
Has anybody death with this procedure, what is the quality...
Thanks for the info, They are recomending Royal Cainin so I am going to try it, an update from the vet today is telling me Jasper is a really sweet kitty but he is not much liking the new food, and REALLY not liking his elizabethan collar LOL. They will be removing the catheter tomorrow morning...
