Thanks for all the moral support and nice posts about Loki. Each day he makes a little more progress and it seems we get one extra headbutt per day.
Very strange for me to say this, as I never wanted a Savannah, but I can't imagine not having him here with us. There is something to be said for...
Ok, Loki has been here roughly a month now. He has come a LONG way and I would venture that he is nearly (give a week or two more) just a regular member of our feline household.
As of this post he is at my back on my computer chair, just chilling. This is a first as he is has always been very...
The snow bengals have somewhat varying eye colors, as follows:
Seal Lynx Point: Always brilliant blue
Seal Mink: From Green to Aqua
Seal Sepia: Copper to Gold to lighter Green
My suggestion to help him avoid stepping in his own mess, is to get one of those really long wide litter pans that Petsmart is now selling. They run about $25. They are also nice and deep. No hood to get in the way of him turning around to exit the pan.
Just so you don't feel you're alone with...
Take a look at the bengal at this link:

There was quite alot of debate between judges and breeders at a show about what this girl's real color was. She was DNA tested and her color is Seal Silver Sepia, but she was really throwing everyone...
Just a slight correction to this. ALL Bengal cats are tabbies.
The OP's cat definitely has a unique look, but if I were to take a guess at parentage, I would lean more towards American Shorthair versus Bengal.
In addition his assertion that his cat is a chocolate tabby is correct aside from...
What type and brand of litter are you using?
I've had 4 or 5 cats that have been allergic to the litter we were using, and the symptoms were excessive grooming, to the point of making sores and removing any fur they could get to by grooming.
Thank-you. We did rescue him. He was going to be put down, because he bit his previous owner bad enough to send him to the ER. Not sure what provoked him to bite like that. I haven't seen that behavior here, although he has put his teeth on both of us more than a few times. He has not done more...
It's that time of year again, and even though we have 6 cats and a dog in the house, the mice are calculating that the risk is worth the pay-off of being warm and cozy inside rather than outside.
So Teri told me several days ago that she was 100% positive she saw a mouse dart out from under the...
I couldn't find the link for the pics of your Savannah on your site until I went to the message boards. Then I saw them. He is very orange isn't he? I wonder if some of his wound up behavior is also because he's just a kitten. I bet he'll simmer down some as an adult.
Below are a few new pics...
Teri and I lived on Oahu for 13 years. Been to Maui many many times. You'll enjoy it, as it is much less "touristy" than Oahu where Honolulu is the main draw.
I recommend going to Haleakula either by rental car or tour. Iao Valley State Park. The road to Hana.....wear your seatbelt and drive...
Wow, I just discovered an awesome new movie maker software on my PC. Didn't even know it was there until today.
Anyway, I put together this sideshow video of our cats. I think it turned out really good. Hope you guys like it.
I'm going to have fun with this program in the future.
Thank you all for you comments, I appreciate each of them.
Loki still has his "evil" moments everyday. We're still trying to figure out exactly what tiggers him. Seems to be when he is up high on something. It's as if he got in big trouble before for being up high. (neither of us care if he's...
LOL, he has some not so gentle moments too. It's the only time I'm grateful he has no claws. He has a very high prey drive. Anything that runs from him becomes a target. He runs our Maine Coon down, which of course turns into a stand-off staredown, but if he had claws I think Runner the maine...
