The photo forums are teeming with pictures of cats and books, and yet we've never had a thread devoted solely to the Love affair between cats and the printed word. Well, now we do!

I know, I know... they're cats - they're always cute, but sometimes they're just Extra Cute - flopped over on their sides and waving at the air, reaching up to grab a passing knee, or just making that Heart-melting, "I'm cute and I know it," face. Every cat person knows exactly what I mean...
After reading a recent thread in another TCS forum, it struck me that a great many of our members have successfully brought formerly feral cats into their homes and into their Lives, yet I can find no trace of a thread in the Photos Forums for former ferals and their success stories.
Let's see...

For some reason, cats curled up nose-to-tail always seem so peaceful and serene. War could be raging around them, a thunderstorm might be rolling across the sky, or a road crew could be just outside the window with jackhammers blazing, and these unflappable felines would sleep through it all...

Having searched the archives - and even run a Google search of thecatsite.com for birthday threads - it seems that we've never had a Birthday Cats thread in the Photos Forum, and it's that time of year when lots of kitties are celebrating their birthdays - in fact, a few that come to mind are...

"...you should play my new board game - The Snowshoe Game. It's FREE! Just print it out! Each player rolls a single die. The Snowshoe Game is the best board game ever, because it so realistic!"
Disclaimer: if you actually have a Snowshoe Cat, you play this game every day - for real.

Do you buy cat food by the case - or maybe by the carload? When you upload photos to TheCatSite, do you get the error message, "►!◄ Cat Too Large! ►!◄" Do you sit on the floor to watch television, because your cat takes up the whole sofa? Then you're in the right place.

After 22 months and 29 days, Black Friday and her Daughter, Clawed-Ya (now nicknamed Bundt Cake) have left their temporary house, and are ensconced in their Forever Home, with their eight Brothers and Sisters. They're cautiously accustoming themselves to only the enclosed sunporch and one...
Raccoonlettes. At this age, there's no single moment when they'll all stand still enough for a decent picture. Man, I wish I had four tiny lawnmowers.

Okay... not really a kitty, but cute and fuzzy anyway. PointyNose, my resident red fox queen, has been dancing 'round the far back lawn, hounding me these last four or five days to be fed a little earlier than usual, and today the reason's clear, as she's finally brought her new kits out onto...
Happy Easter Sunday to all. Because of cholesterol (and egg shells, of course), the Easter Bunny didn't bring his usual fare for the cats; instead it was coloured ping pong balls, resulting in absolute cat madness. Did the Bunny remember your kitties this year?
