    Litter reviews

Wow, you really did some research! I tried crystal litter once for my cats, I also hated it. Arm and hammer and tidy cats have a terrible smell, and tidy cat tracks everywhere! Scoop away is the best in my opinion, though it can be a little dusty. I have been concerned about the dust level...

    Advice from experienced Fosters please

Yes, I used 1 of the little scoops of powder and 2 of filtered water. Maybe I am overreacting about the grittiness. It does look gritty in the jar, but when I squeezed some from the bottle to my fingers, it doesn't feel gritty. Here is a picture though just in case.

    Advice from experienced Fosters please

AGGGHHHH! I am getting confused! I went to go get pedialyte and stop at the pet food store. I saw there was a different Petag Kitten milk replacer. I was feed the one that just said KMR, then I bought the one with the pink label that says Petlac. Which should I use?

    Advice from experienced Fosters please

I am feeding her KMR. At first, I fed her the liquid, but then I read on here that it causes diarrhea, so I switched to the powder yesterday. She is eating that well. She ate about 12mls around 2 hours ago. I'm not sure if she was eating from her mom before, I'm sure she was getting a little...

    Advice from experienced Fosters please

Hello! On Friday 5/28, I picked up two severely sick kittens from a cat colony in the evening. They were the smallest kittens there and one of them was extremely malnourished, just skin and bones and half the size of the next smallest one. After caring for him for 2 days, he passed away...

    How do you do it?

After my last post, I tried to talk to my coworker more. She's not a very open person and so it was difficult to get much from her. But I asked her if she had pictures of her cats, and she did show me two pictures. After that I did feel better and its been a week since she took the kitty. She...

    How do you do it?

I think I found a home for the kitty. One of my coworkers told me to go ask another coworker who I didn't know very well. The first coworker said that this lady liked cats. I showed her the picture and video and she said yes she'd take her. I asked about whether or not she had cats she said...

    How do you do it?

Only the one group I reached out to returned my call and they said they have 50 cats right now so they can't accept her. The other group still hasn't responded at all, so I don't think there's much hope there. I'll see what the church says tomorrow and see if they will help or be ok with her...

    How do you do it?

One of the rescue groups called me but of course they don't have any room. They did recommend either our city shelter which has a high adoption rate or the animal humane society which they also said gave her a good chance. What are your opinions on this? I am reluctant to take her there because...

    How do you do it?

I would definitely take this cat in if I could! So yes, I can see that I would end up with many cats! But I currently have 3 in my apartment. I am just so glad this site is here so that I can talk to fellow cat lovers who truly understand ❤

    How do you do it?

I recently found a young stray cat living outside a nearby church. She is living under a school portable building in the field next to the church. She is super friendly and I just want to find her a home. I've reached out to several animal rescue sites and none of them have replied! I am so...

    Find Kittens Homes

Hi Jcatbird! Yes! I interviewed them for an hour. I picked up my kitten and these two. I have them now and they came to meet them. They agreed to updates and pictures. They said they would never declaw and they would be indoor kitties only. I didn't do the home visit part though, but I asked...

    Find Kittens Homes

Ok I will ask thier vet. I have always had my cats fixed at 6 months exactly. These are only 12 weeks. Isn't it bad for them to be spayed so early? I worked for a vet once and she hated it when cats were fixed too early and said this caused many problems. I remember she said the males didn't get...

    Are Laser Pointers Healthy?

I use the laser very rarely. I do think it's frustrating for them when they can't ever catch it. For the same reason, I always make sure they can catch thier wand toys. I always let them keep the toy at the end of playing too like "ok you win! You got it!"
