Probably because the ingredients are exactly the same as the regular chicken formula for more money. I never understood their LID cat formulas honestly. Just marketing.
intermitted fasting shouldn’t be one massive meal a day for humans. It should be a couple small meals throughout the time you aren’t fasting. Intermittent fasting also isn’t for everyone and eating once a day is terrible for our metabolism.

Hi I looked at the foods you said are available to you. I would feed the Ownat cat food. The grain free sterilized formula appears to have the highest protein but lower fat than the original. And most meat content Than the other foods. They’re both still pretty high carb tho.

If money is no object a raw balanced diet would be ideal. If not a cooked or freeze dried diet. Then an all wet diet some good wet brands are dr elseys, tiki, weruva, and if your cat doesn’t like any of that wysong kibble, dt elseys kibble and tiki cat kibble are the best kibbles on the market.
Those tiny nuggets would be pretty hard to figure out the calorie content on them. Why do u need to know? I would just feed recommended amount and go from thier on wether you think your cat needs more or less.
I think it’s a cyst or “black head” like u thought. My friend has a cat who has one on his back and she cleans it once every 4-6 months and it always refills. Looks just like this. Makes me kinda queasy :barfgreen:

If you want to stick with the SO, use the canned variety only. A cat with crystal issues isn’t going to thrive on a dry only diet. Especially one with little to no meat.
