Thanks! Not only is it a POtC name, I like how it sounds magic and mystical which is what I'd say describes how she looks! lol and of course! My family has only ever adopted, it's such a good deed (not to backdoor brag!). So far so good! She has been sneezing a lot, it sounds like she has a...
Isn't she pretty? I keep telling her she could be a show cat lol! And yeah her eyes change from orange to green and back, idk which color I like more! lol
Thank you! Here are some more of my favorites <3
I love this picture because you can see her brown undertones
Here's the beginning of introducing her to my sister's 12 y/o (she's interested in him, he's interested in his wet food)
Some more glamour shots ;)
And here's a dramatic shot...
Sorry for the cheesy title, I was trying to be clever
So my furbaby that I'd had since I was 12 passed away back in February. I grieved and waited to graduate before I contemplated another kitty. I graduated May 12th and that Monday I went to a nearby SPCA and fell in love. To honor...
Ahaha well it seems like my mother was wrong in this sense. I'm very sorry for your loss, I lost my baby (profile pic) a month ago so I totally understand. The picture is adorable! It's always nice when cats get along :)
I would take this study with a grain of salt because the sample size isn't that large compared to the 73 million it mentions and it's not published in a scientific journal (it looks like it's just a graduate student's personal work, as a student myself, there's plenty of room for error and...
Ahaha yeah I'm hoping to get a bit of an outgoing cat to keep me a little busy and to be a good companion for my older kitty that still has quite a bit of energy. I think I'll take a few out, one at a time and just see how they behave.
Males being laid back and females being a little shy seems to be the consensous I've heard. I definitely won't let sex be a determinate when I adopt a cat. Like I said, I'll probably sit on the floor with some older kittens and see how they behave and base my determination on that!
Ahaha, unfortunately, I'm a college student and start grad school in the fall so I'm currently mooching off of my parents still. When I have my own place someday, I might get 3-4 cats and test your theory ;)
My first cat was declawed before my parents realized how bad it was. He's 12 now and seems okay. He does bite a little easier than most, doesn't like to be picked up when laying down, and can be grumpy more often than not. This could be related to his declawing. My second cat was not declawed...
Ahaha see that's the thing! We had a boy that was a hell cat (attacked my 4 year old brother by jumping on his back) and we still got boy cats after that! I figured it was a one off lol. I figure when I go to the SPCA i'll sit down with a few and see how they behave, no matter boy or girl
