There was a website that was referenced frequently for raw feeding, litter boxes and litter types, and urinary issues. For the life of me, I can't find it now. If anyone knows of what I'm referring to, can you please post the link? I'd truly appreciate it. Thank you!
Due to the possibility of my cat having asthma, I switched my cat’s Dr. Elsey’s litter (blue bag) to Natural Fresh multi cat walnut clumping litter. While it works as far as clumping, I find it to be dustier than the the Dr. Elsey. The brownish dust gets everywhere and stains my carpet too. He’s...
His litter box is an open box. It’s a cement mixing box from Lowe’s. He’s a long Maine Coon so I had to find other cat box alternatives. I scoop 2 or 3 times a day too so the litter isn’t building up with ammonia. I never open windows because I suffer badly from allergies. He’s an indoor only...
I will be taking my kitty in to see the vet for confirmation but from symptoms and watching videos, I’m almost positive it’s asthma episodes. I also recorded them for the vet to see to properly diagnose. This came on all of a sudden and he doesn’t have symptoms of a URI. I’ve been using Dr...
That is the one I have now that doesn't work. He uses his mouth, lifts, and moves it back and forth splashing all the water out. If he can lift it with his teeth somehow, it's over. He's like a He-Man kitty. LOL
I have not tried a plain ceramic bowl yet but only because he seems to drink more from a fountain than sitting water. If I can't find a fountain that works, I will try something like that.
I have tried the Catit Flower Fountain (he will either knock it over completely or use his teeth to remove the green lid, the flower or the plain green circle in the middle, even though I have taped the lid down. Drinkwell Tier fountain, Pet Premier, and another one from Bed, Bath, and Beyond...
I have an 11 month old Maine Coon that is also water obsessed. I know the importance of water in a cat's diet and my kitty definitely drinks more out of a fountain. The problem is that I haven't tried a fountain that he doesn't tip over. It's like he's not happy until he overturns them. I have...
I am currently using the Dr. Elsey Ultra clumping litter (blue bag) and I saw that the Classic was on sale. Is there a difference between the two? I do like the blue bag so I don't want to jinx anything. Just wondering if they work they same and if it's a matter of particle size? Which tracks a...
I was running low on the Nutro essentials kitten and picked up a bag of the Max Cat Kitten to mix in. He actually likes the Max more than the Essentials so that works for my budget since it’s a little cheaper and more food and his palate.
He is 9 months old so still a kitten. He prefers Fancy Feast over Friskies. He does like the poultry platter flavor though. Also, for some reason, the Friskies gives him soft stool over the Fancy Feast. That one boggles me since the ingredients are very similar. I buy on Chewy or local stores...
The reason I need dry food is mostly because he will get really soft stool on wet only. He’s still a kitten (9 months old) and eats a lot too. I stay at home and he doesn’t sleep much actually. He’s usually following me or the kids around, playing, or just chilling out. He’ll take a quick cat...
