Hey everyone. So I have two 6 year old cats. Buddy and Jasper. They're litter mates. Buddy repeatedly pees on clothes, on my carpet, on my blankets & duvet.
This has been a problem for a long time. I've taken him to the vet for check ups and he was neutered when he was 2. I was homeless for a...
Hi everyone. Not sure what info is relevant but I have a 5 year old cat who has a strange growth on his paw pad. He has possibly had this for a while I'm unsure as I'm visually impaired and just noticed it when I was checking his paws.
It looks yellow and it seems quite hard. Is it maybe some...
Hi everyone. I have a cat Buddy who is 5 years old. He is an active sweet boy and has no issues currently that I know of. For the past maybe year I've noticed every day multiple times a day he meows at the closed livingroom door. He will do this even when he has been fed, his litter is changed...
Ahh I apologise, 'clapping' must be a regional Term. It means petting. She scratches people. I'm never able to see any warning that it gets too much for her as she does approach people for petting and such so I know she enjoys it.
I'm not entirely sure what tests have been done, as I don't...
Hi everyone. I'm just looking for some sort of ideas as to what's going on here. My family has two cats. Litter mates. They're 10 years old now. One of the cats Teela has always been timid and kept to herself. Easily startled and isn't so much of a cuddly cat, only on her terms.
In the past...
I've felt their ears and they're cold. Jasper is asleep on my warm laptop and buddy is curled up on the bed. They don't like going under blankets though I've tried to persuade them. I ordered an electric blanket and hopefully that will keep them warm enough
Hi everybody,
I feel silly but I wanted to ask just to make sure. So I know cats get cold and I'm wondering how cold and when do I know they're too cold? It's winter in my country and it can get to 5°c outside at this time of the year. I can't really afford to heat my house this year so I've...
Also, I don't think this is related but just in case. Sometimes when buddy lies down, he has one paw out straight in front of him. He didn't appear to e breathing any differently and seems content. Is this normal for a cat to do? I feel like im worrying about every thing now
Hi everybody
My Cats are litter mates. Two years old. They haven't lived with me until a few months ago as I was homeless. Since living with me I've noticed that both have noisy breathing but no other symptoms. It's definitely not snoring, i can hear the difference and it happens when they're...
Just to further update, when I came home o let Jasper out and have been supervising them all night. They are back to cuddling and grooming each other and I've witnessed no more aggressive behaviour. Jasper is back to his cuddly self but I will monitor the situation for a while yet.
Just to update, I've separated them until I came back from university and I'm on hold to make an appointment at the vets now. He should get seen within two weeks.
Unfortunately there is no way for me to separate them. My doors don't close over fully and so they're able to push them open. They're sleeping next to each other now and have been grooming each other on and off all night. I'm just nervous to leave them. There's been no actual biting just made...
I'm ready quite worried and don't know what to do. I have two cats who are litter mates and 2.5.
They normally get on famously, grooming each other and curling next to each other to sleep.
Tonight I was woken up at three am with fighting. First it's been Jasper who would trill and then go and...
