Kitten testing FeLV+ & have another cat

I wouldn't have a snap test done on any cat due to high risk of a false positive, it is a waste of money and especially on such a young kitten. I would keep them separate till you have a more accurate result before considering rehoming.

Can being a cryptorchid cause UTI's?

I find it odd that his wee doesn't smell - i have fostered two adults with undescended testicles and it was obvious they were unneutered when they had a wee, although a vet had scanned the first one and said he had been done!

Can being a cryptorchid cause UTI's?

You definitely need to get this sorted as they have a higher risk of cancer if not neutered

    Your purpose in life

Not sure if it is a purpose in life but my aim is to help as many cats as i can, whether that is by fostering or fundraising/donating to cat charities. If i had more money another aim would be to help more oldies

    Question About Amputee Vet Prices?

I'm sorry to hear this. I have had an amputation done on an 11 year old and was amazed how well She coped. The main thing you need to know is whether this would cure her cancer and whether it has spread, or if there was some arthritis that would cause issues - if the first, yes, if the second, no.

I would recommend full bloods including thyroid to be on the safe side.

    Convenia Injection

I think you need a new vet, if the kidney problems She had was an insufficieny rather than an infection then the diet change needs to be for life, and even if it was an infection, at that age you wouldn't want too high a protein as their organs don't work as well. Did the vet even do a test this...

    Convenia Injection

I can't believe that they are just assuming that and not testing for anything, especially if She is on a renal food as She has kidney issues, you have to be careful about giving it with kidney issues. When did She last have blood tests?

A colony mate of Shell's could use some vibes!

I am so sorry to hear this, but at least these cats came to you, got to have love and kindness, good food, vet care and allowed to go peacefully and with someone who loved them, things could have been so much worse for them.

Fostering kittens can they have ???

Unless there is a lot of FeLV in the area, i wouldn't have thought there was much risk and all foster cats should be isolated as there are other things they could be carrying such as cat flu and as others have said, it is a very fragile and with cleaning after your cats should be fine although...
