The rabbit pellets are much harder (and much more expensive!) so even though they loved it and it’s such a natural food for them, I’m not sure I’ll buy it again. The turkey pellets are much easier to mash up with a fork. The rabbit I put in the blender to crush them up. I am too lazy to do that...
I feel like they could play with and turn on any of those cross handle bar types?! I don’t like the old fashioned large twist knobs and even those I feel like they could possibly turn on!
The push button one stays on until you push the button again, but after toying with my current faucet, I think I’m going to just stick with that instead of spending $$$ on the Grohe. This is the type I have now, and it doesn’t pull up that easily, so I think they’d have to really work at it for...
I’ve heard the turkey and giblets mentioned as a better option more than once. Is it just because of the previous lack of fish or for some other reason? This now contains fish.
I already have the RO system, just need to replace the faucet so I don’t have a flooded house again!
I may get them a fountain but I will never not worry about this happening again.
I found this drinking water faucet today. What do you guys think between this, the kraus urbix in the original post, and the one with the dial in the post above this? Which is my cat least likely to be able to turn on?
I think I am going to get this one. There is no handle at all—you push the button in to turn it on and off. Seems like it would be impossible for a cat to do that?! Debating this drinking water faucet vs the one I originally posted. A cat might be able to turn this one easier? None of these...
Yes the current ones have lever handles. The drinking water faucet especially turns on very easily. I could easily see them figuring out how to turn on the main faucet too. I do agree the vertical dials seem like they would be the best. I haven’t seen anything else similar to these that seem...
Smudge and Bruno’s reviews:
Fancy Feast: Yes please. We love this and one of us will devour half the meal before Mom can even get it out of the can.
Orijen: Love this. We haven’t tried the fish flavor, but we love the others and Mom says it looks like real, high quality food, much better...
My naughty kitties turned on my drinking water faucet and flooded my house. I’m afraid they’ll figure out how to do the same with my regular faucet. These are the most cat proof design I’ve seen. Wondering if anyone has any other suggestions? Not sure if one dial orientation would be better...
I had a cat that would spend five minutes pawing at the side and top of the box, the wall, and the floor. Never in her 14 years did she ever manage to cover a poop, but she sure did try. 😂
I have a large supply of these and use a new bowl for each cat for each meal. I have a small stand they fit in so they are elevated about 3 inches (but not tilted).

Wondering how others feed freeze dried raw. I feed Northwest Naturals (may also try Stella and Chewys) and have always crushed and rehydrated it and and created a mash. My kitties love it but honestly I am way too lazy to do this more than a couple times a week. The instructions seem to...
I was just going to search on this topic. I used to use natures miracle jumbo boxes but they are discontinued and everything else has looked too small and/or poorly made. I am considering trying the harloon brand on Amazon but cannot find many reviews. These look like the best option.
Harloon...
Smudge came home the first week of October. He’d been eating primarily fancy feast beef pate (adult formula, foster said he wouldn’t eat the kitten food) with a little kibble too. I fed him mostly this when he came home, with one or two other FF flavors. He does get a little merrick kitten...
