Help Advice - She wants outside. Screen porch pros and cons

My cat Tuff loves our screened porch. There are several trees and a bird bath for him to watch. If I were a cat I think this would be more enjoyable than being indoors all day.

Who else have just one, indoor cat ?

No, Tuff has never been very bitey. I have always thought he was our gift from God, so I think he was given strict instructions as to what he could or couldn't do! Ha!

Who else have just one, indoor cat ?

Tuff has been an only cat since he adopted us 5 years ago when he was 3 months old. He seems very content and I think the main reason is that we live by a park with plenty of trees, squirrels and birds. He is strictly an indoor cat but has several windows to look out of. I don't think adding...

My girls only eat cheap wet food :(

Tuff is 5 years old and has always been on Fancy Feast Classic Pate. He is so healthy--only goes to vet for annual checkup. Coat is so shiny. I add a few teaspoons of water to the FF because he doesn't drink water.

How often do you completely clean out your litterbox?

Am I the only one who hardly ever dumps all the litter and thoroughly cleans the box? Tuff's box stays so clean that I feel it would just be a waste of time and money. Litter can be pretty pricey.

Where did you get your cats?

I live on a dead-end street. One hot July morning I thought I saw a black bag in the street. No! It was Tuff! He ran to our house as soon as my hubby started watering the flower bed and has been here ever since. Vet said he was about 3 months old. He's 5 years now. Jet black and still looks...

Where does your cat like to curl up during the day?!

Depends on time of day. Mornings, Tuff prefers the recliner in the office. Afternoons, my tummy when I nap. Nighttime, soft rug beside my bed. A regular cat bed would just be a waste of money.

How much do you spend monthy on your cat for litter and food?

About $30 for food (one and a half cans of Fancy Feast per day) and 2 -3 boxes (14 lb each) of Fresh Step litter at $10 per box. So approximate total $55.
