Oh and I bought this

I'm going all out and aligning the cabinet with litter mats on both tiers. It's become a whole project at this point lol.
I don't scrub. Rinse out with water and toss it in recycling. Our county doesn't take ANY recycling in plastic bags (even if its a recycling trash bag) so what I do is use a trash bag as a liner and if my bin gets full I just dump the half-bin at my trash chute room.
Previously I didn't...
To clarify, I got the mask for me because I have to dump the entire litter box in a separate sifter box to collect waste. And then I had to read the whole thing about wood dust and cancer and my paranoid self.
@tabbytom
I just bought unscented tofu (8lbs for $19) litter because thats all chewy had in stock. PS, they're have a special deal for national cat day.
Will I smell it since I got unscented? Worse comes to worse, I could always use baking soda or one of those scented baking sodas.
oh that's totally fine, the mask itself is pretty affordable. I was worried that I had to buy filters like, every month. The cheapest filters I found were like 2x for $12. Maybe I could've find even cheaper if I bought in bulk, but didn't want to fully invest yet. This will save my butt when I'm...
Thank you for your detailed response. I've had bad luck with flushing "flushable" wipes down the toilet and it clogging anyway, so I wasn't thinking about tofu solely based on this. My biggest problems now are: tracking and dust. Unfortunately with the set up I use, I feel like I inhale more...
Currently my setup is

It's a separate sifting box which you have to pour everything into that box to collect waste. IMO, it's so much better than sifting litter boxes.
1) Holes are bigger - means less clogging
2) For...
also, how do i store the food he doesn't finish? i put it back in the freezer again then took it back out and put warm water - but he threw up. oops.... should i just put it in the fridge next time?
Vitamix, and the "cheapest" electric grinder recc on catinfo.org was like $200-250
I'm just getting started so I didn't want to blow all my money until Roman 100% eats this
I'm slowly transitioning Roman to raw food by grinding some chicken hearts into his already existing wet food. He was apprehensive but he started to eat it because I sat next to him and pet him while he ate. Before grinding, I tried to chop it up and he didn't eat it like that. I remember...
I should probably mention I don’t have a grinder/vitamix so I’m gonna do raw chicken wing bone cut up so I’ll hold off on small containers until I get a grinder. It’s the thought that counts. And wooo anything by xo is expensive, how many of those do you have?
