Yep, I’ve had much better luck using the miracle nipples with previous litters I’ve raised. I hate using the hard rubber ones, the babies always hate them too. I don’t blame them, I wouldn’t wanna have a hard piece of rubber stuffed into my mouth either lol. I don’t currently have a scale but...
*Update*
Little one is still here, and has no problems latching on anymore! Mama is doing great, but there’s another concern now. She’s not producing very much milk at all. Is there a way to stimulate her milk production? I’m still trying to get the baby to take the bottle but he/she still...
No :( My dad lives with me, but he has no idea how to take care of kittens. I have my alarm set for every 2 hours, that way I can get a bit of sleep for atleast an hour and then get back up to try feeding it again.
I think the drop by drop with the syringe is actually working because little one is still here and has perked up a bit. It pooped twice and has been actively trying to find a nipple and is latching on more. Still screams it’s lil head off when I pick it up to feed it, but it does seem to be...
I’m still trying to syringe feed it because I don’t want to give up, but I haven’t been able to get it to drink any of it, and it’s getting weaker and weaker. It latched onto mama earlier very briefly 2 times, which gave me some hope, but it’s stopped trying to now. I’ve been googling all day...
I tried everything I could for the baby, it started to latch finally but it’s not going to make it. I’m heartbroken for mama, she’s so proud of her baby. Seeing her grieve after it passes is going to crush me. Thank you for the help 💔
Mama seems to be calming down a bit finally. I’m attempting to feed it 1 drop at a time and woo boy, this little one does not like it. It starts screaming as soon as I pick it up and I’m honestly in tears because I just want to get some food in it so it doesn’t die. I’m terrified of it...
One of my cats gave birth to a kitten this morning and I need some advice on possibly having to syringe feed the baby. This is her first(and last)time and she’s doing well with cuddling and cleaning but she won’t sit still long enough for the baby to feed. This has been going on for the past few...
