Well...after 3 weeks of ignoring his catnip pickle Mr. Mojo decided to rub on it, bite it & kick it this evening! I guess he was still too young for the catnip to have much of an effect on him but tonight he all of sudden is beating the heck out of it! :yess:
You're welcome! It certainly can't hurt. Basically I put a couple of drops in his water bowls when I refresh them 2-3 times a day. He likes to drink water which is helpful. I figured this would be an alternative to having to brush his teeth every day.
I have been adding a couple of drops of this TropicClean Fresh Breath to Mojo's water a couple of times a day for a week now and it actually seems to work. His breath doesn't stink and when I check his gums they look fine with no redness. His teeth look clean too. Has anyone else used this with...
I don't know what brands of canned food you have access to in Romania but here's a video review of the best "cheap" wet cat foods.
Here's a video review of the best wet cat foods for 2022
My boy Mojo is not fussy and will eat anything but I try to keep him on decent canned foods like...
Sadly cats would rather starve than eat something they do not like. They are not dogs that will eventually eat when they get hungry enough and in some cases wolf down the food in one sitting. You have not lost your marbles. Like I said Mojo right now eats everything however when he gets older he...
I am glad your boy is eating more. What did you name him? I gave my boy Mojo Fancy Feast once and he loved it. Now I give him mostly Tiki Cat, Wellness, Weruva or Natural Balance canned food. Luckily he eats anything I put on his plate. 👍
While that is a great idea I live in a basement apt so putting a bird feeder in front of my window wouldn't work for me. Now with autumn just around the corner the squirrel activity (looking for food to store) has picked up though.
Well now that Mojo has recovered from his face swelling episode his energy is 100% back and he only knows one speed to follow me around the house which is 100 mph. :flail:
He has also taken to knocking stuff off my computer table and wacking it around on the floor or flailing around the place...
He usually gets Tiki Cat or Wellness canned food on a regular basis but yes this is a nice little snack for him in between the nutritionally balanced foods. I am glad he is not really a fussy boy.
I agree and this would not be his only diet. He also likes chicken and salmon. It would be a supplement or part of a variety of foods he gets. This food also is supposed to have less mercury than regular tuna.
That being said he just gobbled it up and cleaned off his plate.
I am located in Canada and in my city the Dollar Tree near me sells this Carlyle Just Tuna canned cat food that has 2 basic ingredients (tuna, water) and 2 added ingredients (taurine, vitamin E). Seems like a pretty good deal at $1.50 CDN for a 170 gr. (6 oz.) can. I like that it has just tuna...
My boy Mojo likes to play with a crumpled up piece of paper. He'll go nuts batting it around and chasing it. Sometimes we play with wand toys. Of course he'll have nothing to do with the $8 catnip pickle I got him. For the most part he likes to sit or sleep on his window ledge and watch...
I guess I was lucky when I found Mojo. He's over 6 months now. When he arrived in our store to be adopted (I work in a pet store) he was so affectionate right away. He loves giving headbutts and having his upper tummy rubbed and will rollover to let me do it. He also lets me hold him like a...
This pretty much sums up my thoughts on it as well. I thought "cats don't eat the same thing in the wild so why should they in captivity?"
So far Mojo eats up most everything but later tonight he didn't seem too interested in the Tiki Cat Sardine cutlets. Even after heating it a little in the...
I scored big time adopting him! He is such a good boy and is never cross with me and loves being around me as much as I love him. He is not just a "cat" to me he is my baby and I want the best diet I can afford to give him. However I must make an appointment with the local cat hospital/vet...
I don't feed him dry food. I have read a lot about wet vs dry food and I don't see much benefit in feeding my cat dry food. I feed Mojo fairly decent quality canned wet food (Wellness, Tiki Cat, Weruva etc..) and he usually devours everything. I also prefer to not "free feed" him which he is...
So I was talking to another cat mommy and she told me I should try to feed Mojo the same food all the time and not mix it up. Now, I have been feeding Mojo a variety of decent quality wet foods since he is not too picky and he eats everything up.
I am wondering is it really best to feed him...
