So far 5 gorgeous kittens!! 5th one just came 20 min ago. I hope she's finished lol. 3 orange, 1 calico and 1 black/white tuxedo 😁
I'm so darned proud of momma cat!!!
Still no kittens yet, and she's been panting like crazy for the last 4 hours. She's been making some grunting noises and I can't tell if it's because she's trying to push or if it's just from more frequent contractions.
I'm so paranoid lol I want this to go perfectly for her.
It's happening!! Her water broke a few minutes ago (all over my piano but I don't care!!)
I'm so excited I can hardly stand it lol. I'm sure it'll take a while but it's finally happening!! :hyper::woohoo:
I wanted my cat to feel important so I gave him rank lol.
Sgt. Tiberius Rex is his full name. Tibbs for short. I think he grew into his name quite nicely!
Wowza!! I think I may have to put away my fishing rod and pick up a metal detector lol.
I had a cheap one when I was a kid and the treasure I found was priceless. Or worthless, depending on how you look at it. Still, it was a lot of fun to hunt.
I think I'm positive that today is definitely the day she might absolutely have her kittens. Maybe.
According to everything I've read online, she should have given birth last year. I'm being very patient.
So sorry for your loss. Our pets are such loved family members that losing them is horribly painful. From my own experience I can tell you that time will be your friend. The more time passes, the less sharp the pain will be.
❤❤❤
Sgt.Tibbs is an orange tabby and Olive is black/grey tabby with some orange splashed on there.
I'm curious to know if most orange tabby cats are on the large/heavy side. I've had 2 orange ones and they've both been quite heavy although not fat. Big boned maybe? 😄
I don't really feel like doing THREE things today but I suppose I have to. My day is just starting and already I've opened the blinds, pet my cat, and checked these forums. I'm done. Going back to bed now.
It will happen! They will be best friends and will cuddle and groom each other lol Good on you for being patient and giving them time to get used to each other.
