    Advice for senior cat...

I have four boxes now - various sizes and places. I did try uncovered but she pees over the edge. Nothing helped. The PCR was done the first time I took her to the vet and she was negative for everything. I'm calling the vet today to ask about the S. Boullardi... I've never heard of it before.

    Advice for senior cat...

Yes - all except the Purina, which caused vomiting, so she was only on that one for a week before we moved to the Royal Canin HE. The vomiting is under control, but it's made no difference at all in stool. Not even color. The full panel was run the first time I had her at the vet... negative...

Monkers is on a wet-food only diet.. I asked the vet about adding dry food, but he didn't feel like it would help.

    Advice for senior cat...

I can't figure out how to edit my own posts so I'm adding this here (Because I'm an idiot and forgot to include it in the original): She has completely stopped pooping in the litterbox. She will pee in the box, no problem, but she will not poop in it.. She poops anywhere and everywhere else...

Forgot to answer this bit! Her name was Fluffy, but I call her Monkey. She's all long and gangly and clings like a little spider monkey when I hold her. She even purrs and loves on the Vet!

    Advice for senior cat...

I keep her booty shaved - unfortunately her stool is so liquid that it dribbles everywhere. Her back feet/legs stay a mess. She's at least 13.. probably closer to 14, would be my guess. I did try pumpkin but she wouldn't touch it. Also tried plain steamed chicken and and rice, but she wouldn't...

    Advice for senior cat...

She's been on Hills Z/D, Purina EN, and Royal Canin Gastrointestinal High Energy. We've also tried select protein (rabbit). The Purina EN actually made her worse (there's large grains of rice in it and she threw those up every time she ate). Right now she's still on the Royal Canin, but no...

    Advice for senior cat...

Yes, we had everything checked the first time I had her at the vet - she's been checked again since. Everything was clear. Thyroid, kidneys, everything... I almost wish something HAD been off.. at least we'd have an idea of what might be wrong and how to help her.

    Advice for senior cat...

Honestly right now I'm just feeling miserable and looking for some advice.. any kind of help would be appreciated... Even if it's a kick in the butt. _ Roughly a year ago, I inherited a senior cat from a relative - when I say inherited I mean the woman's children were going to have her put down...

    Kitty with GI issues?

Came home from work today and my youngest furbaby, Liza (6 years), was acting.... WRONG.. She's normally very clingy; wouldn't hardly come to me at all. Kept acting like she was straining to poo. Some vomiting of just liquid, loose stool around her anus. She was absolutely fine when I left for...
