It seems like she just can’t get the poop out of her rectum. This am’s poop was soft not dry and hard and it still only got to her rectum and stopped. Am wondering if the two purse string procedures have damaged the nerves in her rectum. Would this be possible?

Yes she is eating and drinking normal. She is not however, as active as she was on that first day I brought her home. I have to wait until next week to take her to my vet and was looking for ways to help her. This morning I had to help her poop.

Does it have to be freeze dried? if not, I found a canned food from Red Barn in lamb that I just introduced to Luna's diet this weekend. So far, she is eating it well and it has not flared up her IBD. It is too early to tell but so far so good.

It was pretty quickly. I started feeding her rabbit exclusively on Nov. 19th and by the 21st her poops had become soft but formed and 2 days later or so they were nice and formed and solid.

Unfortunately, chicken is a definite no.

Also, forgot to answer your other two questions, sorry. She won't eat freeze dried anything, lol I have tried. I haven't checked into a high calorie supplement but I will look into it and see if I can find one that does not have chicken or chicken anything in it. Thanks !

I would go straight to the Head of the Practice. This was a very very serious mistake and could have cost you the life of your beloved kitty. Thank goodness you were vigilant and caught the mistake. I myself always check dosages on pre filled syringes but that's just cause I'm a control freak :/
