What kind of cat does he look like? Just a tabby?

He looks like our tabbies, also pretty large!

Way to keep cat off stovetop?

I am now leaving this thread more anxious than I was arriving! In general, we massively have this issue - they even started wiggling their bums like a pre-pounce at the flames recently like it was a toy. One cat responds to no, and now whenever I get up he will get down, but it wouldn't...

Kitten pooing outside of tray after stomach upset

Thanks a lot @FeebysOwner - apologies I hadn't mentioned, they were on special gastro food, also probiotics. We didn't do antibiotics in the end as they were improving daily. You were correct, even though he seemed better and poops were better, he was clearly still in discomfort - he's not had...

Kitten pooing outside of tray after stomach upset

Sorry, worth mentioning he was much more ill than the other kitten with more severe diarrhoea. (Other cat is a bit more robust and bigger)

Kitten pooing outside of tray after stomach upset

He’s definitely getting better, and the last poo not in the tray was 75% ‘normal’ so it doesn’t seem urgency in the same way it was at the weekend. I have seen him head into the litter tray and try to go, and then his belly rumbles and he then gets spooked, runs out and goes somewhere...

Kitten pooing outside of tray after stomach upset

Our poor kittens (two boys 5 months) both had a bad stomach bug at the weekend, one was worse than the other and had very bad diarrhoea to the point he had to go multiple times an hour and did not make the tray at all. He would be on his way and we would lift him into the litter tray to go in...

Any other breed, or 'just' little tabbies?

So interesting and so many great pics! Definitely reminds me of them in a few ways… the ears are great! Also such long legs! They both seem to have different elements of Savannah’s, but must be only a small part?

I’ve just looked at your photo - the cat on the rights profile is so similar to Obi (one of ours) they look very similar but with different coat patterns!

Not sure how I managed to also upload a picture of my friends cat and some shampoo. Ignore the cat sat on the scratching mat! Also noticed they’ve got quite prominent tear duct lines.

Any other breed, or 'just' little tabbies?

Super interesting! Thanks for the info. Attaching the pics of the mum that I have - she was marble too it seems, a few of the litter were too. they have black lips but not sure of the others, seem to have quite pointed ears? They definitely have silky fur, noticed this particularly recently -...

Thanks Maurey - perhaps going to be quite big tom cats! You guessed right on age - 15 weeks old today.

Any other breed, or 'just' little tabbies?

Hi there! We've recently adopted two rescue kittens, we've seen photos of their mum but not sure who the dad is. A few friends have tabbies and have suggested ours have very long legs/paws, longer noses and big ears than a tabby. I was looking at Egyptian Mau's and I thought I could see some...
