I actually got her an auto feeder too! I never thought that could cause it since, like yours, it has a steel bowl.
She had been stung by a bee a long time ago too but the swelling back then had gone away by the next day... I'll check it like that though!
Thank you for your response!
I didn't touch it very much cause she seemed annoyed by it. She definitely doesn't have any trouble eating she eats everything we let her eat. And she also is active as always. I was worried if it could be something serious like a cancerous lump...
Hello everyone!
I have a 3 year old cat. She bit a bee about three weeks ago and at the time I had looked in her mouth and noticed there was a small lump on her lower gum. I assumed it was from the bee sting even though I had found the stinger at the roof of her mouth, where the area wasn't...
Okay I will look it up! She doesn't look like she started being in heat and the period in which cats are in heat is almost over. Right now almost all vets here are on vacation and will be for at least 10 more days so I will try to talk about this with my vet later. But thank you for your answer!
That's what I usually read on the internet but it seems like vets here in Greece want to postpone it for some reason. That wasn't the first vet who adviced me not to spay her now.
Hm yeah to be honest I didn't read that anywhere that's why I came here to ask but I'm just worried cause what if I ask him to do the surgery now but he's only experienced on adult cats. Ugh I don't know what to do!
I live on the fourth floor and it's really not easy for her to escape, I don't leave her out on the balcony unsupervised and i dont think she would jump four tall stories anyway. Escaping is not really an issue and I'm monitoring her behaviour cause if she does go on heat I will go have her...
Hello guys!
Once again I came here to ask for advice. My kitty is 6 months old and female and when I asked her vet about when we should get her spayed he said he recommends for it to be done once she's one year old. He explained he wants to postpone her surgery because females produce some kind...
Wow turns out some cats have weird voices 🤣. Mine kinda sounds like a door that hasn't been oiled up for a long time, if I had to describe it some way. Really funny, I was just worried about it. 🤣
Rocket is so cute!! Thanks for your answer. I guess they would have noticed if she had some type of respiratory disease when they checked her breathing so it must be just her voice. :kitty: It's adorable anyway I'm not complaining.
Hi guys!
I adopted my kitten who used to be a stray some months ago and I've had her since she was about 2 months old. Ever since I got her she had a hoarse scratchy meowing and her meowing only becomes clear when she really wants to ask for something or is scared. Now she is 6 months old and...
You're the first person I've asked on the internet who actually knows Natural Trainer. I'll check out Smilla I've never heard of it before. Although she literally eats anything Matisse seemed to be the only brand she didn't seem to like so I think I'll avoid it. Thank you!
Greece. They usually advice me to get the food they feed their own cats but each one of them has a different one that's why I got so confused. No one seems to agree on one.
I do give her the occasional wet food pouch once or twice a week so I know she loves it. As I responded to a previous comment I do add water to every meal of hers so hydration is not an issue but I get why wet food is better. Heather is going to eat literally anything you give her very happily...
Yeah maybe you're right about ignoring the vets after all. However wet food is a lot more expensive than dry food I might switch it to that when I have a better budget! There are a lot of brands available in my country and I have tried Brit, Friskies (luckily for a very short period because I...
Thank you for your answer! I will check these brands out! I add water to her dry food on every meal and have a separate bowl of water so I think she's fine as far as hydration goes. But yeah thank you for your recommendations! :angelcat:
Hello!
This has probably been asked before but I couldn't find it. So I have a 5 month old kitten and I'm really struggling to find the best fit for my kittens food. I constantly read on the internet that any wet food is better than the best dry food there is, but any vet I have asked insists...
