    New Roommate

Thank you. I feel like I’m over thinking it which she probably senses I’m worried LOL, when I’m reality she’s going to adjust soon and be fine. My best friend is a big cat person so she wants to introduce herself right & is letting Sally do everything at her own pace.

    New Roommate

Sally is 4 & an only child 😂 She is afraid of a lot of people (mostly…everyone except like my mom). I’ve had her since she was a baby, we’ve moved twice and she has adjusted so well both times- she’s a good girl. Yesterday however, my best friend moved cross country and moved in with us. No one...

    Something spooked her…

All night Sally kept staring out into the living room refusing to go out there. This morning we played in the bedroom and I went to log onto my computer (in the sunroom off of the living room) and turned around and she was following me, rubbing against my legs. She explored for a minute and then...

    Something spooked her…

Thank you! I think this is what I’m going to do, I left to run an errand and came home and she had Finally crawled in the tower on her favorite blankie, so I’m just going to talk to her as normal but not make her feel like anything is off. I have a bit of anxiety, live alone and she’s my baby...

    Something spooked her…

She’s spooked everywhere, but my room is her little safe spot so she is staying In there. When I go in her fur goes up again and she’s panicked and I don’t know why. A few minutes ago she was a little calmer, sat with me and was staring out the door. She let me pick her up, and I brought her out...

    Something spooked her…

Sally is 4 & I’ve had her since she was a baby. She’s always been spooked easily - she was a rescue that had been tossed when she was born- but for the most part it’s not often bad. we Moved a few weeks ago (almost a month) and she’s done so wonderfully, we started her in my room and that’s her...

    Bringing home second cat...

Thank you, this is all super helpful! She’s been hissing some today but also rubbing against me still and played some with me, and ate as normal- so I suppose she’s doing okay!

Cat no longer sleeps on my bed. Why is that?

My Sally does this all the time now- out of nowhere lol, she used to sleep in my bed with me, and now she moves to the couch, to under the bed— It’s weird cause she didn’t for the first two years of her life and now she is but I do think it’s the seasons here, on cooler nights she’s in bed with me.

    Bringing home second cat...

My sally has been an only cat for 2 years. I toyed with getting another cat, and decided to now because sometimes I think she would really benefit- sometimes she just sits around and stares and wants to play but I am working and can’t. It aligned that a rescue my friend works at took in some...

    Anxiety?

That’s a great thought- we are in an apartment complex so that’s totally possible, given the room to run around the parking lot! None of our neighbors have cats but there is a dog in the same building. I’m going to have to try and pay attention!

    Anxiety?

Hi everyone! Hoping someone has experience something like this. Sally is almost 3, I’ve had her since six weeks. She is an only cat. She is a good cat,but not huge on other people - only me and my mom when she visits (my mom watches her when I’m away). She runs the other way whenever someone...
