Thank you. This makes me feel better! I thought for sure there was one more in there but I’m so glad she seems to be done and is well and that all kittens are thriving so far! I believe it’s a miracle she and the last kitten are ok 💕
Pearl is eating so well, taking trips out of her nest to eat and use her litter box. She is so cozy and relaxed today, but she passed this a little while ago. Not seeing her pass the placenta, though she could have while I was out for a few minutes letting my mom know she finally had the kitten...
Like I said, I could be completely wrong. I’m not positive on any of them... I’m great at sexing them when they are a bit older but this is a first for me.
They are all very sweet and we can’t wait to give them names ❤️
She’s doing very well. Nothing else yet.
The kitten is nursing so well. Still nothing more, it’s possible she had and ate the placenta when I went to tell my mom that she finally had the kitten. Pearl pushed over 2 hours with the kitten presenting. Vet said my option was an emergency c...
I still don’t believe she has passed the placenta, and her labor has stalled again, though I feel one more kitten. It it normal for cats to have two interruptions to their labor?
Kitten #3 was stuck for a long time. Pearl managed to pass it. She hasn’t passed the placenta yet though and it feels like there is another kitten inside.
Still has not had the other one(s). She is very calm, babies are nursing beautifully. Already weigh more than when they were born. She has been sleeping. She has eaten. I’m not sure if she has used the litter box yet, but I finally went to sleep so she could have while I was sleeping.
I’m not...
Still just the two. They are nursing very well now. Weights are 116g and 113g. Small, but feisty and eating very well!
Still feeling movement inside. Hoping she has the others soon.
So she had her first at 3:37, second at 4:39, and has been resting. Still babies moving though. I have read about the stall out. Hoping it all picks back up soon!
Second one is pretty vocal. Seems cold. Should I do anything? They are both struggling to find her nipples. Anything I should do there? I have a baby/infant scale but I’m not sure that it will work like I thought. Sending my husband out for a digital food scale.
Trying to push one out. It took over an hour but it is here! I can see the next one but she hasn’t started pushing that one out yet. She ate the placenta, cut the cord, and is cleaning away.
