Hello! I have a 10mo old kitten and I'm wondering if I can feed him adult cat food now? I ran out of kitten food this morning and have 35Lbs of adult food bc I had to switch my 3yo to a different food to help with her hairballs
So I recently began collecting houseplants. My cats love to chew on leaves so I grew them some organic white oat grass which I gave to them for the first time this morning (they loved it!) My question is to those who give their cats cat grass, how often do you provide it? Do you leave it out all...
Thanks! She's not treat motivated either 😂 literally will only eat her regular dry food and drink water. But I'm trying to do multiple sessions daily at meal times. So far so good!
Thank you! She used to eat a tiny bit of wet but has since refused that and any other kind. She drinks plenty of water. I'm going to try and brush her out more (she's not a fan of it haha)
Hello! I got my DLH in 2019 and she's had no hairballs since I've gotten her. However, this year she's already had three and just puked tonight probably trying to bring up another. Is this normal? I've been giving gel and hairball food (though ice been lazy about the gel and hair brushing...
Progress is not linear haha they sat like this for a while but since then much hissing/growling from the big girl. When she's playful she'll go after him but get mad if he tried to play back smh
Not sure if this is the right forum! Apologies if it isn't!
So I recently began collecting houseplants (pet safe). I brought in a Boston fern on my birthday this past weekend and LOVE IT but so do my cats! While it is safe for them, I'd rather avoid them tearing the leaves out haha
I'm...
Thank you so much for this advice! Norbert's been a real terror today but Nimbus isn't hiding so maybe her confidence is going up but she's been very vocal about him being close. I did find a scab between her shoulders (She's a longhair so it's hard to notice these things when they happen)...
yes! he has free roam now! i play with him when i get home from work and while im in my online classes. Nimbus will sometimes observe and I'll switch playing with the same toy between them while the other observes. Today, Nimbus let out a yowl-type of noise and norbert because he wouldn't leave...
Exactly what I thought when I saw it too! He does this and then bites her but she gets away fast enough before I can do anything. But I'll definitely try to distract him with a toy to prevent further chasing (when I can. I work full time and I'm a student so it's a balancing act )
Thanks!
Here's a picture I got a week or two ago. He's around the same size, if not just a bit smaller than her. He does sometimes walk away after nimbus gets upset with him but sometimes he just keeps going after her and then gives up shortly after. I try to intervene using toys. They both love feather...
