It feels hard to pull, I just had a little feel and it feels like it would take a hell of a yank to get out.. obviously I'm not going to do that

It's stuck on his fur or in his foot sort of I can't really see much he won't let me touch for long. Would a worm come off if I was to clean it let's say? I did try to brush over it with his brush to see if that would dislodge but it doesn't move, doesn't feel tough either and he is an indoor...

I'm not 100 percent sure that it is any such worm, do you think that it could be?

Can anybody tell me what this could be? I am thinking maybe a tapeworm or hookworm? It's on the back of his heel. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you
