Hi.
It seems normal to me, but as StefanZ mentioned you could try burping the kitten.
Here's a guide on hand-raising kittens: Hand Raising Kittens - Tips.
I think it also has some info on how to burp a kitten.
🙂
Hi.
Welcome to the forum!
I'm no expert, but to me she seems like a normal tabby, (not a pedigree). 🙂
Maybe a classic tabby, or a Brown mackarel tabby with a gray field.
She is adorable!

I think that Tuna in spring water would be a better option as they brine is extremely salty and not very healthy for cats, but I think that if you mix it in with her food and/or feed as a treat its okay. Not sure about the oil. 🙂
Hi.
I've never tried it but since no one has answered, I did some research and it seems like an okay brand. A lot of people were praising their dog food but I didn't find much on cat food. I haven't looked at the ingredient lists to check the nutritional info but is seems like a fine food for...
Hi.
The kittens are so cute!
I would say its okay as long as it is more or less just plain tuna. (Eg. not spicy flavoured tuna or super salty oily tuna).
I wouldn't entirely feed her tuna but mixing it in her wet food or as a treat I think is a great idea.
The water fountain idea is good as it...
We used to have a rule of no names because it would make it sadder to give them away, but we always ended up giving nicknames instead so we ditched that rule. 🙂
Hi.
I'm sure your cat will get used to it. it also happened to my cat at first at first litter, after the first time she just changed back to normal so don't worry. and thanks for the message about about
They are adorable.
Oh wow! They look exactly like my momma cat Bella and her kittens!
(But...
Generally, cats have 8 nipples. However, I have never seen kittens drink from the top two nipples, they generally go for the bottom ones. If there are 4 kittens, I assume they would be using the bottom 4.
Keep an eye out on how many are "working" nipples there are, here's what I write about...
I don't have any experience with fixed male cats and introducing them to a nursing mum and kittens, but I would say to definitely keep them apart for a month or so. If you introduce them earlier, the mother may feel threatened as the kittens are very young, and the kittens will be scared too. I...
Hi!
Phew, I'm glad the placenta was found.
Normally cats have a couple more kittens, but since she (looks like) is a small cat, maybe she is finished. My cat is also a small cat but she normally has around 5 or 6 kittens.
1.5 hours is a long time, so yes, I assume she is done.
Oh! They are so...
If the placenta is still in her she will need to go to a vet, it can be serious and life threatening (not to scare you).
Some symptoms to watch out for: Weakness, swollen abdomen, bleeding, appetite loss and and depression.
It is rare though, and normally only happens in a hard labour or when...
In my opinion I don't think you need to weigh them just yet, let them settle in a bit and drink some milk.
I don't weigh my kittens that much unless I see that they aren't drinking milk/are tired/ are small, but its always good to check and just make sure, especially if its her first litter. 🙂
Hi.
I'm glad most things went well.
The births of the kittens seem mostly evenly spaced out, I think that is okay.
Are you sure she didn't eat any of the placentas? Maybe she ate the 4th one?
Hopefully its not still in her 🤞
