Keep cat off bed or stop cat crying

Of course! I also thought maybe getting her an old sheet and making like a homemade scratching post with some cardboard might deter fee from scratching your bed.

Keep cat off bed or stop cat crying

Why not try getting her a bed and then seeing if they have some kind of cat attract spray and spraying that on her bed in your room. My cat Noel used to pee on my bed every time i left the room. It took almost two years to get him to stop. I know it’s not the best advice but some times patience...

    Cat on new diet

Hello everyone! Just wanted to give a little update on Noel. He’s finished all of his medicine and seems to be doing better. He’s started eating his new food and we also got him a water fountain. He seems to really like the fountain, even though he’s was skeptical at first. We also changed his...

    Cat on new diet

So they said his ph balance was off. He actually free feeds dry food and I feed him wet food twice a day. He also drinks tons of water already. Almost a full bowl of water a day. I think they said his urine was too alkaline. He’s actually already getting constipated a little bit but I think it...

    Cat on new diet

The vet didn’t give me a specific food to give him. They just told me to buy a dry food for urinary care. So I got Purina one pro plan for urinary issues. They also gave him a two week antibiotic shot, anti inflammatory meds for 4 days, and medicine to dialate his urethra.

Putting a collar on my cat

I personally think collars are a good thing just in case your cat gets out. Anytime I find a stray animal the first thing I look for is a collar with information on it. Personally, my cats don’t wear collars only because they know how to take off the breakaway collars and I don’t feel...

    Cat on new diet

Hi all, So my cat Noel was recently diagnosed with a small bladder infection. He was on antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medicine for about a week. The vet also suggested switching him to a diet specifically for urinary problems. We first got Noel when he was 4 months old and it took us about a...

Cat has scratches between shoulder blades

I noticed early this morning that my cat has two scratches between his shoulder blades (I’m guessing that’s what you would call it). I’m assuming he got them while playing since he was playing pretty hardcore last night. They’re scabbed over already. My question is should I just leave them alone...

Spraying Cat targets one family member

Hello everyone! Just wanted to post an update! My sister started keeping her doors closed when she wasn’t in the room and that helped a great deal however he did pee on a few of her things on the floor. My sister officially moved to Colorado a few days ago and so far everything has been going...

Cat intro - moral support thread?

Yeah. It definitely sounds exactly like our cats. Our kitten just want to love and play and our older cat was having none of it. They kind of just tolerate each other now and it’s been 3 years but it’s miles from where we started.

Cat intro - moral support thread?

Awwww they’re both so adorable! This definitely sounds like how our cats started out. Just don’t lose hope! Eventually, it’ll become easier. I would say maybe if it’s possible, sleep in the room he’s in with him just a couple nights. :)

Spraying Cat targets one family member

You might be right! My sister recently started working at starbucks and that’s right around when he started spraying her stuff every other day. He might not like the scent of the coffee when she comes home.

    Just Relaxin’

He’s enjoyed sitting like this since he was a kitten.

Cat intro - moral support thread?

One of the things that really works, or at least has worked for me, is feeding them on opposite sides of the door at the same time. That way they associate the kittens smell with something they enjoy. When we got our male kitten our vet also reminded us that it’s ok if the cats just tolerate...

Spraying Cat targets one family member

Thank you so much. I’ll definitely take him to the vet to get him checked out. My sister is hopefully moving out in a few months so the yelling won’t be much of a problem but I’ll try to let her know to be gentle with him and try loving on him.

Help: Stopping Viral Infection from Spreading

When we adopted our kitten, he had a couple of infections and we kept him quarantined in a separate room from our other cat and everything was fine. I would say if you really want to be safe, maybe put a towel in the crack of the door so that the other cats can’t stick their faces in the crack...

Spraying Cat targets one family member

So, this is thread is going to be kind of long, but I want to give the full backstory to hopefully get a better answer to my questions. Almost 3 years ago now, one of our cats passed away and we adopted our male cat, Noel, from our local humane society. When we first got him, he was recovering...
