I'm so sorry she's having to go through all this, and after just making progress from the ear infection. Hopefully the owner will be able to provide better direction and Krista can get back on the road to recovery
Glad the output is getting better! I've found the same consistency issue with Dr Elsey's, and Instinct when I was feeding that. Not sure what causes it, and it's often different in cans from the same case
Between the supply chain problems and the QC issues Rawz is looking like a villain here. I hope you can find more, or some other company can come to the rescue. It's so unfair that you have to deal with this on top of everything else
Hope it works out for you! I feed my cat Dr Elsey's wet, and she loves it. Have bought the beef, turkey and now we're on duck (food allergies so no chicken) and she's eaten them all no problem.
@WMM201 It seems like a lot of the turkey pates are fatty! Maybe catfooddb.com could help you find some new choices? I ended up clicking through to the nutritional info on every canned turkey food chewy had to check ingredients/calories. Not efficient and I wouldn't recommend it!
We're...
I used the Koha LI turkey for a bit with my allergy cat. It didn't provoke any symptoms, but she didn't like it so I went back to Rawz and Dr Elsey's. I think it's worth trying for your cats!
@WMM201 Oh no! I hope her ear is better now. Allergy-caused infections are so damn stubborn. I'm not sure about the price on the S&C turkey stew, but Koha might be another option for you? They make a shredded limited ingredient turkey without peas and all that nonsense, and other limited...
Rawz is great, but prohibitively expensive for me to feed for the full trial :/. And I've been avoiding cranberries, etc in her foods. She did fine with the Dr Elsey's beef, so I know she's OK with agar agar at least. At some point I should probably get another freezer and then I could move her...
Frida was much more enthusiastic about the homemade turkey with Rawz beef, so I'm very happy about that! The homemade turkey has significantly fewer calories than the beef I was making, so I'll be able to get the Dr. Elsey's turkey to go with it even though that is higher in calories than their...
Those robo-bugs look cute but pretty sure they'd be lost under the furniture in 3.5sec flat, haha. I was thinking about something more like this PetDroid Boltz. Basically an automated wand toy I guess? It's great that your kitty is interested in so many types of toys! I'll have to try the...
So far, Frida isn't liking the turkey nearly as much as the beef, but jury is still out on whether she's having a bad reaction to it. I made a batch of homemade, so maybe that mixed with the beef canned will entice her more than the beef homemade with canned turkey. And we still have the vet...
The course of transaderm is finally over! Frida still has a lot of ear wax in her right ear, so I'm continuing to use the ear cleaner every other day. She's also got scabs on the shell of her ears from scratching, which will hopefully clear up now that I don't have to mess with her ears so...
