He's adapted to being inside better than the other working cats I've met. He's pretty pleased with life. Got him neutered, his rabies vaccination and a microchip. His recovery is going well and he's taken to the litterbox way better than I expected.

So far so good, he’s healing well and he’s a happy boy. I got enzyme cleaner for my tiny house but he seems to only have sprayed on the towels in the bathroom I left out for him. He got the idea of the litter box really quickly.

Thank you! I was reading that earlier. After my vet told me to change my clothes before going into my house with Dario. He's 6-7 years old the vet thinks, so he is older. Yeah, the vet noted how scarred his was, he's been in a lot of fights. Not hard to see just looking at him.

I'm hoping that after he gets neutered I can bring him inside my house. My vet is... old school? So she was against me bringing him in with Dario. Even suggesting I change clothes between them because of the FIV. What supplement do you use? He is fed wet food regularly, all of the working cats...

My parents have 3 working cats and my adopted stray working cat, Vincent. The boys like to hang out together and the girls tend to hang out together. Vincent will be neutered soon but everyone else is fixed. It’s more the personality of the cats than the gender.

So, Vincent came back without feline leukemia but, he did test positive for FIV. I’ve been reading about it. Should I have him retested with another vet? My vet didn’t think it was worth it. He’s set to be neutered July 1st. I don’t know what to think.

Vincent was very good at the vet. He’s a very scarred up cat, she thinks he’s only 6-7 years old. No feline leukemia but he came back positive for FIV. So now I have to read up about FIV.

Totally worth it!!
