Stories of successful adult cat intros?

Yes, please share your stories! I'm on month 8 (to be fair, I've been proceeding very very slowly, out of fear of screwing it up) of introductions, and I'd really like to know there is light at the end of the tunnel.

    Cat Introduction .... Failure?

Ditto. I'm about to hit the 6 month mark, and my cats still can't be in the same room without a chase starting.

    D-mannose For E Coli Utis?

Hi - sorry for belated reply - I just saw this notice. Yes, I used D-Mannose for E.Coli related UTIs, and as far as I know, it worked. My cat Mango was on high dose prednisolone and chlorambucil (plus, for supportive care, Cerenia, mirtazapine, and potassium) started in November 2015 for...

    Cat Introduction .... Failure?

I've been watching/reading this thread with a lot of interest, as I am in week 10 of a loooong slow introduction (just started feeding them with open doors a couple weeks ago - cat distance has advanced from 20 feet apart to about 10), and it's really helpful to see your interpretation of these...

Difficult Choice Between Leukeran And Prednisone

Where Are You All Ordering Your Cat's Medication From?

Also if you need a compounded medication (something out of the ordinary - my cat was on chemotherapy), have your Vet check in to ordering from Roadrunner Pharmacy out of Arizona. My cat's chemo was very reasonable (a 10 week supply for 50 dollars), they shipped directly to my house, and they...

    Small Intestine Lymphoma

Mine did! My cat Mango [RIP :( ] had intestinal lymphoma, and finding things for him to eat was always a struggle. At one point, I had a spreadsheet to keep track of what he would eat. His favorite was the packets of chicken in pumpkin broth, so if you haven't tried that yet, give it a shot...

D-mannose Or Slippery Elm Bark For Peeing Issues

I used D-mannose with a cat who had recurrent E Coli infections. Mango had cancer & he was on methylprednisolone and chemotherapy so he was really susceptible to UTIs. He was getting at least one a month (always flaring late at night or on Sundays when my regular vet wasn't open... of course)...
