Hi All,
Not sure what I'm expecting anyone can say to me but I just need to let it out somewhere that I know people will understand.
I lost my cat Amber on Saturday. She had been run over by a car. My neighbour rang my door bell to let me know the bad news.
My husband tried to hold me back...
So apologies if it in the wrong place.
My husband and I are looking at getting a little dog next year to add to our family. A small breed, perhaps a dachshund.
My question is, would this be incredibly cruel to our cat? She is 18 months old now and has never been around dogs. Does everyone think...
She is so wonderfully affectionate and has a fantastic little personality.
I'm worried getting her spayed will change her? Has anyone ever found this?
I'm planning to keep her indoors so I'm starting to ask myself if spaying her is even necessary x
My Amber is such a snuggle bug. Shes coming up to 13 weeks and since I got her at 8 weeks she has been very attached to me. She comes and cuddles on my lap at every opportunity she gets. Obviously I love this haha. I was thinking its probably just because shes a baby. I'm really hoping she stays...
Which quality food brand would you recommend to use for my kitten? I want to get the best I can for her.
She's currently on Purina One dry food. I'm not happy about the amount of grains in it but then loads of the grain free ones just seem to be filled with loads of other fillers that cats dont...
Any tips on stopping my Princess Amber doing this?? She is really starting to wreck them. I get her down with a firm and patient "no" and put her on the floor. Immediately back up she goes. This goes on several times. I've got two young children and would rather not have to put with this all day...
We bought some Catsan Natural litter which is wheat based and our kitten completely avoided her tray! Before there were any issues I promptly changed back to clay and she used it again straight away. Just wondered if in general cats dont seem to be keen on it?
My husband bought Bob Martin's Chew Stop to try and prevent our kitten wanting to go near and therefore scratch the arms of the furniture.
I absolutely hate the smell so I wont let him use it again but I noticed a change in our kittens behaviour, she is usually so friendly, relaxed and social...
Possibly a weird/stupid question, but I'm about to start potty training my 2 year old daughter.
I just wondered if her having accidents on the floor, settee etc could affect our kitten? Like would she react by starting to want to mark over the accident areas or anything? Or do cats only do that...
I've seen a few complete foods stating how they are wheat free. My girl is currently on Purina One dry food at the moment but I'm thinking of changing over to something like Wainwrights (they are wheat free) x
I'm so upset, I normally watch them so closely but my daughter managed to get ahead of me and pull my kittens tail before I could stop her.
My kitten didnt make a sound about it and I'm praying it hasn't done any damage? Would I know if there was something wrong? I can't stop worrying about it x
Had a lovely evening last night cuddling this gorgeous one. The way she lays on my chest it feels like I have a newborn again sometimes! So so in love with my Amber xx
Hi everyone
I read online that with daily removal of waste you should be ok to go 2 to 3 weeks before doing a complete change? It's been 2 weeks so far for my new kittens tray and so far it seems pretty fresh still so I'm thinking to stretch it one more week but it does seem like a long time...
I'm looking at getting a kitten soon, she is a Tortie. So many people have told me to beware! Should I be worried?! Haha.
Or do you think that it is a load of rubbish that coat colour influences a cats personality? X
Hi everyone,
I'm about to get a new kitten when she is ready in about 3 weeks. I just wondered if you could tell me if you think she is tortoiseshell or not?
Obviously it doesn't matter but I wanted to know if I should label her as one or not haha x
