I tried that Frisco gate, but my cats easily jumped over it.
I put together zip tied wire shelving (6'ft high) to separate 2 of my cats that don't get along and they work great. I keep it in hallways and doorways. I really like this because the cats are separated, but not isolated. If you...
Bought a few boxes of Arm & Hammer baking soda litter recently, unscented, 28lb box. I use this product all the time, but now it looks like a totally different product... a much darker clay look to it. Are they getting cheap and trying to increase profits, or did they simply forget to put the...

There are 3x the amount of them out there after it rains. Their slime does not come off your fingers easily either. Washing it off doesn't do much, you have to wipe it off. I wear gloves when I collect them from around the bowls.
No I don't, the local activity sets it. I live in an urban area. When things quiet down, they come. Ferals only come after sunset and during the wee hours.
The shadow ferals are very inconsistent and come at different times during the night. I'd be waiting all night. The bowls are styrofoam, I do not re-use them.
I always throw a few pieces of food on the ground to distract from the main bowls. Works only for about 1 hour or so.
The black oriental cockroaches are a bigger problem than the slugs.
I'm waiting for the cold weather so I can relax for a few months! It' still way too warm in PA. It's Nov...
I feed both wet and dry. The ferals only come to eat at night into the wee hours of the morning. I estimate 5-6 ferals come to eat, then leave. I have a roach/water bug problem, but only when it's above 50F. Slugs tend to come out when the ground is wet after it rains and into the bowls...
I did call a local pigeon rescue and left a message, but no one ever got back to me. I was about to try and capture him, but one of the stray cats I feed ran up and scared him... he flew away and haven't seen him since. Hopefully he'll show up again tomorrow. I was also thinking he may have...
I feed the birds every morning. Today I saw a pigeon who was not flocking with the others. While he was walking on the ground I noticed he had the feathers and skin on the back of his head neck ripped off. The back of his skull is exposed. What an upsetting sight! I threw extra birdseed out...
Here is my Jessie girl. Another friendly I rescued off the street in October 2021. She's a very sweet girl, loves to play and romp around the entire house. We're so happy to have her here!
Whenever I get up off my computer chair, this is what I find when I get back... my Teddy boy!
He was a stray I rescued in October 2020... he's off the streets, all settled in loving his new forever home.
I certainly hope so. Here on the East coast wet food inventory is pretty low. I have many friends and relatives that have cats and they all say the same thing.
My newest orange boy Teddy. In 2020 I rescued him off the street from a very bad part of town. Weighed only 7lbs when I took him in, now he's 13lbs. Can you see the appreciation in his eyes? Unfortunately he doesn't get a long with any of my other cats and I tried every socialization...
