I am down with COVID since sat and have isolated myself in my room.
My Bengal girl who seems more comfy with me, has been scratching the door and meowing all this while.
Her meows are heart breaking but I read online that COVID can be passed from human to cat pets.
Anyone else heard the same?
Thanks for all the replies.
I had tried venison dried raw from Ziwi peak and she did not even take a bite.
She prefers the real cheap can food like the price similar to fancy feast etc.
I am staying in SIngapore so just to give the gauge of the price of food can.
For now she is on Earth made...
Update:
Adopted female ex breeding Bengal femal at 2yrs last year. Had her spayed.
She was on raw chicken only diet with her ex owners. But maintained the same but she ended with ear was and itchy ears etc. diagnosed as yeast infection.
Seen many vets when finally found she was allergic to food...
My vet advises that my cat has a bath once a mth.
Reason she is allergic to quite a lot of stuff, food and environment etc.
She is allergic to staph which sits pretty high on her allergic scores.
I read short hair cats do not require baths and cats are good groomers.
So should I still proceed...
Thanks guys.
One thing sure for sure is chicken, beef, turkey all still make itch on her face with ears dirty.
The problem with allergy test is that they say allergic to Bonito but not to tuna and salmon. Then mackerel falls under Bonito family etc. It's really crazy.
Tried feeding her...
The allergy test was recommended after we tried the food test. Apparently we noticed that dry food also contains peas which she is allergic, also novel like beef, rabbit and turkey also allergic which we have been feeding.
Is chicken fat considered part of chicken allergy. One site describe...
At last thespian allergy test is out.
It's been 7 myths since adopting my engagement cat and have been plagued with ear infection such as yeast and water.
Allergy test came out.
She is allergic to chicken which we suspected of.
On top of she is also allergic to turkey, beef, novelty food such as...
Used to give her treat after ear cleaning. Then she associated treat as ear cleaning and not come near. So we stopped it. We only give treat during nail cutting which she accepts
My bengal female us almost 3 now. Adopted her last July when she 2yrs 3mth after being spayed. She was a ex-breeding queen.
She was skittish but well behaved as she will only use scratching post and does not scratch or bite us.
But she was never into us will not like to carry or pet her much...
My almost 3yr old bengal sheds alit. She is waiting for her spot allergy testresult as suspect food allergy. But she is shedding more than usual. Benhlgal fur feels like carpet as no under coat. Tried glove, alucker brush but shedding is still same. Can I try furminater for shirt hair?
Anyone...
My cat has been suspect of food allergies to chicken and possible fish. As such have been asked to swap food.
I originally swapped to beef kibbles and beef patte but she still get ear wax and itch in couple days. As such we switched to RC hypoallergenic food which also had chicken but vet...
Update to my thread.
Visited the vet again as she show signs of scratching.
Luckily no more yeast infection in years but it's wax.
Vet suspect her food allergy still existing and causing wax build up. Will be changing to venison wet and kibbles.
But her behaviour change is mystery.
She is a...
Mine was on raw until she had bad ear yeast infection where source cannot be identified. So we skipped raw as per vet advice and am feeding single protein chicken kibbles for now. After 3 mths, the ears are better. Vet says we can feed cooked chicken as treat but when feeding raw as main with...
Maybe my sentencing is not right.
I expect to be hyper as a Bengal but she is not.
I did called the breeder to check and she herself git her from a breeder in UK.
She explained that as the cat was of 5th gen (my country Singapore only allow 5th gen for Bengal and Savannah), she may not be as...
Believe she wants my attention as myself the late sleeper and she usually sleeps in the day.
Tried to keep her awake in day but no use. She can sleep through vacuuming noise and not care of us. After mths of treatment for her ear infection, finally we are not dropping anything in her ears now...
