This afternoon I noticed my cat was licking his left shoulder blade non-stop, and when I looked there is some fur missing and a red rash on his skin. His back is twitching, and now he is going at it non-stop.. We have a vet appointment but its not until Sunday so I'm worried. Could this be fleas...
Definitely wasn't trying to sound like I thought they did it incorrectly! Haha. I just was wondering how normal it was for the testicles to still be there like that, as I'd never heard of it. Sorry If there was any miscommunication :)
I just picked up my kitty Wonton fro his neutering about an hour ago, and I looked at his surgery site to see what it looks like so I know what normal is. It looks as if his testicles are still there, which i was surprised by. Is that normal?? I attached a photo so you know what i mean (sorry...
I feel like all the great progress we've made with Wonton went downhill quick in one day. I don't understand. He started nibbling on *clean* litter last night as well after the peeing accident.. I did a bunch of research, and understand that isn't a normal thing and is usually indicative of an...
Thank you. We will definitely keep them separated unless they're being monitored from now on, and hopefully his lunging at her is just an issue due to not being neutered and they become ok together again.
Unfortunately we live in a studio and have no room for a third litter box, although I am...
Wow what a day. Right after posting this, wonton went and squatted in our garbage which he has never done before and peed. (He did not spray, it was a full pee right into the bin.) I had just been saying yesterday how sometimes he goes into the litter box, then to the other one (both enclosed)...
Hey everyone! I'll try to keep it short. A little less then a month ago, I adopted a 1 year old male named Wonton. He is still not neutered due to covid, but is getting neutered in a week. Anyways, he is freely roaming the house with our 2.5 year old female cat, Gnocchi. They live ok together...
Thank you!! I am just still so unsure, as at no point have they been able to play successfully without it turning into one of them getting cornered/overwhelmed, and a yelling/hissing/hiding thing happening which is definitely alarming. Do you think they could be out at night together yet (with...
Honestly, things are all over the place! Wonton seems to be pretty comfortable, but watching him and Gnocchi live together is such a roller coaster ride! A few times a day now they have little "fights". I put fights in quotations because there's definitely no blood, and it is always beginning...
Absolutely. Thanks for your response. :)
Today there has been a lot more chasing, stalking, etc from my original cats end. It concerns me as Wonton seems unsure and runs away, but there is no hissing, ears pinned back, signs of actual fighting whatsoever. I am just scared of him being so...
Both my cats, Gnocchi and Wonton are incredibly vocal! One thing that helped was beginning to feed more frequently (I feed them 3 times a day now.) Although that certainly hasn't stopped them being vocal! They are also both very active and young, so I dedicate quite a bit of time each day to...
We have been playing some calming cat music actually! And they didn't give him any calming products, no. Although I bought some calming spray yesterday and have sprayed it around the house, which has seemed to help our resident cat but not Wonton.
Thank you for the response! Hopefully this...
We just adopted a new cat on Wednesday, and as the title states, his attitude seems to have changed which has me concerned.
For a bit of information regarding Wonton (approx 1 years old), we adopted him from a shelter 9 hours away so had a bit of a road trip together. He was INCREDIBLY...
2 days ago, I noticed my cat, Gnocchi, had a small patch of missing fur beside her whiskers/mouth. It had no blood, and she didn't appear to find it painful to the touch. We weren't sure what it was. We considered she got into a scrap with the other cat in the house but since it didn't have any...
S&C's Selects isn't yet available in my area, I'm in Canada and every store I've called still doesn't have it. That's what I want to feed once it's available (if ever) out here.
I have, yes, trying to find a ratio with the canned and raw that is perfect for her stools but so far any wet seems...
Thanks for your response. :)
If I WAS to feed dry, I would mixing lots of water into it. Luckily, she eats anything and everything so if I were to mix the water in with dry and mush it up she would certainly eat/drink it all.
Yes, I definitely do think it is the bone causing it as she does...
Hey everyone,
A month or so ago I had a thread open regarding the mixing of wet and raw food, which was locked due to some conversations going off topic within it. So I wanted to make this new one in regards to some questions I have about mixing raw and dry food..
Is this a general no-no due...
