My cats really like the gravy that comes with their canned food. However, it usually gets lapped up in a few seconds. Anyone know where to buy, or how to make it, so I may add a spoonful extra on their feedings?
I have 2 cats. Long story short, I didn't want to have more cats after my last one passed, because of spiritual/religious reasons (basically, living without animals for at least a few years).
Well, a foreign woman tricked me to marry her for papers, and before figuring out what she was up to...
Is it possible to keep cats calm 100% of the time?
Well, at least my cats sometimes get too hyper and/or act like scavengers rummaging thru the garbage (even though they have food which they like).
For example, one of my cats, who is normally extremely sweet, just picked out a light piece of...
When there is $5-10 worth of old cat litter, and we get a brand new box, I mix it with the new box. However, it doesn't save money in the long run as the mixture contains bacteria from the old litter which causes it to spoil faster.
What's the best thing to do with the old litter? Would you...
My cat who is 1 year old sometimes squints her left eye like it bothers her.
Also, on a couple of occasions, she kept it closed when I woke her up from sleeping, and didn't open it.
Is this normal? I don't have enough money to pay the vet.😔
After smelling certain things, one of my cats jaw drops a bit and her face looks angry, like she wants to kill something.
I don't know if she's actually mad, or it's just an instinct, as she does not bite or growl, she just makes the face for a few seconds then goes back to normal.
I can definitely say to an extent, yes.
My cat, when she was a kitten , had severe attacks on a regular basis (daily), especially after exercise (but also anytime).
However, she is now 14 months, and the last attack was a minor one about a month ago, and before that, I don't remember as it was...
My cats meow non-stop. I think it's because I reply to them/we talk and they reply back, so they get used to "talking", and don't shut up.
Usually moreso when they are in heat (have 2 females). We can't spay them, for religious reasons.
Sometimes I have to lock them in the litter box room just...
She is usually in a great mood immediately upon waking up. She walks right to the bed (where I normally am), jumps up on me & kneads my back and it feels great. I like her massages a lot, but she only does this after waking up, then eats, and she is actually scared of me a little bit for some...
My cat is extremely sweet, but she often jumps on my desk and makes noise when I am sleeping, and wakes me up.
How do I stop her from doing that?
I thought of buying a small squirt gun, but my computer would get wet, so it doesn't work.
Due to economic & other reasons, we have decided to combine ~30% sand with our kitty litter in order to stretch it further. Sand is natural for cats and built into their DNA, so mixing it into their box is OK.
To sterilize it, we bake at 400+ Fahrenheit for at least 30 minutes (as recommended)...
A cat's life only lasts 1/4th of ours, on average. Do they therefore experience things at 4 times the rate as we do?
For example, if I pet one of my cats for 5 minutes, then does it perceive it as 20 minutes?
From a psychological standpoint, are laser pointers unhealthy? Sometimes it feels like a great game when we play with them, but most of the time it feels like my cats are distressed. Similar to a bird in the window they can't eat. The make the same noise. It makes me wonder if they actually...
Got this kitten 3 days ago. Despite placing him in the litter box multiple times everyday, rubbing his belly and uaingnanwet washcloth on his bum he still hasn't used the litter box at all.
He is eating and drinking a lot.
Also, he is coughing, and just vomited.
His abdomen looks to be a...
