Man, this must be putting you in a tough spot, I hope you choose the right decision. Whatever you choose, we shall support you. :) Most shelter cats have Corona, did Casey have corona when you rescued him?
Best regards,

I would wait a bit, until they can treat the virus of course. If you don't want to wait, Casey should be fine but there still is a chance he could get it.
If you don't wait, be careful and keep a close eye on Casey. Did you name the orange tabby yet?

Hello, just read this post, did you ever get him? I lost my cat once and believe it or not, I got him back by putting the litter box out, I guess she needed a spot to poop. Anyways, I hope you got him.
Best of luck,
~Echy
Hello,
Do they go away from your house or do they stay nearby? If he stays nearby, shake a bag of treats, it works for me. If they stray away from your house, leave a bowl of food out, but you need to be wary of ants. Trust me. I've learned that from experience.
You could also just make them...
I can honestly relate to this, Verismo loves going outside, when I stopped letting him out, he got mad at me, so I only let him out in the worst weather possible, (for an example, rainy weather, 100+ degrees but nothing that would kill him.) and he was convinced that outside was hell. He doesn't...
I'm really sorry, I don't know how to help. I hope she's okay. The only information I can provide is to do the surgery, I know its dangerous and there are risks but just think about it. I'm sorry that I can't be of better help.
I'm praying for your kitty.

I would separate them when I got my cats fixed, (I had them done one at a time, each one week apart) I played the other cat out (the one that didn't get fixed) so I could put them together and they would just sleep. Try it!

I feed my kitty, Verismo, with a spoon, no matter what, he will not eat out of a bowl or a plate. (I also have to mix roasted turkey into it which costs $12 per pack, but I would do anything for my remaining kitty.)
This looks pretty normal, Verismo, my cat has the exact same pads, his pads are mixed with black and pink, however, do keep an eye on it. Verismo's pads were cracked and inflamed, I took him to the vet and it healed within a few days. Just keep an eye on it.

I agree with @Mamanyt1953 it's most likely an allergy. It is good that it can be managed, are there places that your kitty can get into? Is your kitty an inside cat or an outside cat or both? If your cat is an outside cat, there is a high probability of it being an allergy, if your cat is an...
The first thing I thought of when I saw those images was, "Ringworm." Ringworm is quite serious, there is a chance he doesn't have ringworm, but just to be safe, ask the vet for a skin scrape.
I hope he gets better! Keep us informed, please.
Best of luck,

Thank you for the reply, Echo adores smoked turkey and I happen to have some in my fridge. I didn't know why, but the vet did recommend pills at this stage. I'll try the syringe, the pills can be smashed easily.
Definitely get a new vet, she could have a serious problem, there must be something that works. They are missing something. "At this point, I notice her not pooping, she goes through the motions sits and strains and squeezes but nothing comes out." She could possibly be constipated or she's not...
It doesn't look infected, you should be fine as you said its been 7 days/1 week. It does, however, look slightly sore, I would give your kitty something to soothe the pain, and I don't mean painkillers, I mean something like treats. Just don't give her toys, if she plays around, it may open...
