How can I get help for a severely injured stray cat?

Already done that. Waiting for a reply. Would bully my daughter into taking me, but about a month ago she was in a car accident and had some bad injuries and totaled her car. She's recuperating but not working and has no transportation. It's rough but we'll survive. I'm afraid the little kitty...

How can I get help for a severely injured stray cat?

Since I moved from Missouri to Michigan to live with my daughter, I've become very isolated. I lost touch with everyone I knew in Missouri and I know no one in Michigan. I haven't so much as spoken to another living soul except my daughter, her girlfriend, and the cats for over five years. My...

How can I get help for a severely injured stray cat?

Still working on it. Waiting for answers back. The main problem seems to be she's not a pet, not "owned'. One place said she had to be currently under the care of a vet. I can't afford a vet. I can't even get her to these places. The farthest I've been from the house in the past five years is...

How can I get help for a severely injured stray cat?

I'm in Grand Rapids, Mi. I don't have a phone to call anyone. I am on my daughter's internet. So maybe I can email someone.

How can I get help for a severely injured stray cat?

I feed the ferals in my neighborhood. This morning there was a new face in the crowd. The little thing sat there watching me as I walked up to her, Very friendly, she let me pet her, then I saw her leg. It's horrible. It's badly broken and she drags it straight out behind her. It probably...

    Dwarf Kitten

I do use Amazon quite often. I get most everything from them since I haven't left the house except to feed the feral cats twice a day. Too easy for me to fall. I didn't know they had goat milk, though. Gonna check it out. Thanks.

    Dwarf Kitten

I forgot to tell you I have her on probiotics. I increased the amount of Nutrical I'm giving her, but I'm doing it slowly. I've had that give kittens the runs before, and I don't want to make her worse. I will add goat milk to her diet when I can, but my mobility problem has been made worse due...

    Dwarf Kitten

Here are some pics of my baby. She has slightly shorter legs than usual, and a shorter, rather stumpy tail which are earmarks of drawfism. That and her small size makes me believe she is suffering from that. When I get her to the vet, I'll know more. She's so tiny and frail, I'm afraid...

    Dwarf Kitten

I'm not sure exactly how much Nutrical to give her. She's so tiny. Too much can cause the runs.

I'm giving her Nutrical and I'm going to try the goat milk. Thanks.

    Dwarf Kitten

Solid. She's had constipation, her anus hard and swollen, but the oil and extra water have just about cleared that up. I think I'll try the goat milk. I had digestive issues myself as a child and goat milk cleared that right up. Thanks for reminding me.

    Dwarf Kitten

I'm an old lady on a limited income. I have to save up for several months for the vet. That's what I'm doing now. I hope to have enough by the first of December to take her. I have to get my six-month-old spayed, also. Do NOT need any more kittens! Oh, and she's very rambunctious, very...

    Dwarf Kitten

She's been wormed. I mix wet food (13 ounces) with a half teaspoon of nutrical, a teaspoon of oil, and extra water because of the constipation. I have to put the dry food my other cat likes where she can't reach it. She lets me know when she wants food and I feed her whenever she starts...

    Dwarf Kitten

I haven't been on here for a while because of illness, but now I really need some advice. I feed the feral cats in my neighborhood and usually wind up handraising several litters of kittens every year. A while back one of the feral mothers brought her baby up on my back porch and left it. It was...

Should I Let My Cat's Sister Nurse Her Babies?

Get some flea powder made for kittens. Don't put it on the kittens, but sprinkle it lightly in their bed underneath them and beneath their bedding, too. I have used this method many times, never had a kitten harmed by it and it helps, a lot.

    Cat Feeding Station

Working on getting them fixed, now. No electrical outlets outside so that's a no-go. I looked up the microwavable pads on Amazon and the price seems pretty reasonable, but the heating pads would probably work better. I'll have to figure something out before winter sets in again.

    Cat Feeding Station

Very nice. I went to the Feral Cat Tails blog and checked it out. It has some good ideas. I never thought about building shelters, but they would be good to have. Here in Michigan, it gets very cold in winter. Last winter, I really worried about the kitties, it was so very cold. I had a hard...

    Cat Feeding Station

Not sure I have the right forum for this but this seem closest to the subject. I'm planning a feeding staion for the kitties at the back of the yard. Have to get the cat food off the porch where it's drawing flies, raccoons, skunks and possums. It's for the ferals. I feed the kittens inside...
