    Show me the smiles!!

Oh my, it is hilarious  and of course I had to sing the song in my head since you mentioned the tune!! Jupiter opened both the carrier doors on our way to his first vet visit and I knew he was trouble! :help: I've been having to give him medicines and he leads me a dance each time...

    Show me the smiles!!

Hahaha thanks for solving the conundrum for me!! :yess: I have people calling him a lynx point siamese but the pictures I've seen online don't have the white mitts or the white tail tip and it's always puzzled me :cool2: Unfort he knows he's a cutie and uses it to his advantage!!

    Show me the smiles!!

I'm not sure, I adopted him from a Siamese Rescue organization and he is a seal point with lynx markings on face, legs and tail though the tail is very dark and hard to tell. But he also has white paws, a small streak of white on his face and the tip of his tail is white. He has the meezer...

    Problem Child?

Update on Jupiter's health issues - his URI is ok now, thankfully! He still has diarrhea and we are stopping the coccidiosis medication as the vet didn't find any bacteria in his stool sample this time and the he has given him some special food+probiotics that's easy on his intestines. We will...

    Problem Child?

The vet didn't find anything abnormal about Watson except that he had bitten of all his super long whiskers which got in the way of grooming to a stubble! He had a good laugh at that :crackup:and said he's never heard of a cat do that before :dunno:

    Problem Child?

Tried out the soft carrier for both of them with feliway spray and it's been great! Didn't make too much difference for Watson (the Tux who is chill anyway) though I'm sure he was a lot more comfortable in this, but a huge difference for Jupiter (the lynx point).

    Problem Child?

True, it is hard to determine from pictures. I'll have the vet take a look away both of them on next visit.

    Problem Child?

Hah Tux is Watson. Ok, I'll have his eyes checked out. The lynx point Jupiter's eyes are definitely not symmetric/ identical I think. Not sure if that's ok.

    Problem Child?

You mean Jupiter right? What does it mean if only one eye is dilated? Is the other eye not working properly? :(

    Problem Child?

Ok thanks, I'll do it tonight! :)

    Problem Child?

With Watson, I can't tell. His eyes are dark are he's constantly moving! But from the photos, they look ok. I'll check again tonight. I have noticed that Jupiter's pupils are not identical though. I've attached pictures. Do you notice his right pupil (left in the picture) not necessarily being...

    Problem Child?

Jupiter is doing well on the probiotics and plenty of his favorite kitten food. He even pinned down Watson in play, we've been waiting for him to recover and teach him some manners haha Jupes still has diarrhea but I'm hoping that the probiotics, food and respite from antibiotics is...

    Problem Child?

Jupiter and Watson are eating well now though they have the occasional sneeze. The vet advised us to use the same eye ointment on both of them if there is discharge and to continue for a couple of days after it stops. I got them in thr bathroom yesterday and let them explore and get comfortable...

    Problem Child?

Thanks, I'll try the shower for the URI. They like the guest bathroom (because they're not allowed there??), so I can get them in there easily. Watson has been sneezing and worrying his eye too, so they can both benefit from it. :greenpaw::greenpaw: I've just recently discovered these...

    Problem Child?

Update: We dropped off his stool sample at the vet hospital for them to run tests. I've started him on the probiotics. He seems to have a good appetite and hasn't vomited since morning :) though he still has diarrhea. His URI and conjunctivitis have made a come back since he got so weak :(...

    Problem Child?

If the feliway works, I won't take Watson along. I'm also thinking I'll use the feliway in the carrier and leave it open in the room so he gets comfortable with it. Unfortunately, he doesn't like treats or I'd have used that to get him into the carrier just to familiarize.
