Here is a more recent picture of her. Her floof has definitely started to show, and she's more soft than ever. Love how when she lays down her neck floof looks like a lion mane! <3
Another picture of it. I don't think it's the same as the mutation shown in that thread though, as it doesn't curl all the way around, just lays straight and between her shoulders
Hello everyone. We just recently adopted a calico baby that has appeared to have some strange way of holding her tail. When I pet her or she comes by us instead of the usual straight up tail hers goes flat over her back. Is this normal?
It seems very unnatural for it to bend that far.
We recently adopted a kitten that has very strange fur. I guess it could be considered thin feeling, and it's pretty long. She also has a small collection of ear fluff at the tips of her ears that makes me think she might be part maine coon. Anyone familiar with the breed that can tell me if she...
Just reading the early signs brought me back to when my baby ghost got that disgusting disease. She had the dry form and it had destroyed her liver in a little over two weeks. We only had her for a week after her diagnosis. All said and done she lived a bit over a year. FIP is a traumatic...
I just adopted a calico that does this. It lays pretty close to flat against her back. It seems she only does this when I'm getting her or greeting her in the morning
Hello! I have a few questions. First of all we have two cats that will turn 2 the end of this month. We are adopting a couple more kittens to add to our family. My question is, how do I go about introducing the two kittens to our older ones? I've done this process with one kitten.. I'm not sure...
When we introduced Ghost to Moogle and Penny it was hard on them at first as they adjusted. But maybe a few weeks later all seemed well so I just kinda got that feeling that it was time, and they got along great after that. Give it time. You'll know when they're ready
Both of our cats have kind of dumb or uninteresting stories about their name. Except for our late white kitten Ghost. I knew I wanted a white cat. They were always so majestic and beautiful... So I saw on Facebook that the local shelter had a little white kitten for adoption. Naturally I was all...
Moogle is playing with his catnip filled/infused stuffed pickle. Penny is staring at him probably thinking, "You're so dumb"... She's such a princess. Lol
This was a great read and one part particularly touched me. It's the sudden uncontrollable losses that hurt the most. I know it wasn't me who got my 1 year old FIP baby sick... But I made the decision to end her suffering before she lost all quality of life. FIP has a 100% mortality rate...
I think the reason that FIP hurts so much is because it sweeps in and takes them so suddenly. We started noticing symptoms four or five days before we decided to have her checked out. She had a fever of 105 and wouldn't eat and almost exactly a week later she was gone. There was no time for me...
