I was thinking of pairing it with another, more typical insurance that covers accidents and medication. I am pretty sure she has some un-diagnosed ailments that could end up being pricey, with multiple visits and blood work.

Yeah a lot of the rules make no sense to me. My cat wouldn't have to be quarantined but would have to have another vet visit after landing. The health certificate alone costed me $350. $4,000 is a lot. I'm guessing you didn't do that?

Oh, he eats fancy feast and science diet. He eats a little over half a cup of kibble and a can of the fancy feast. I worry a bit about how much water he drinks(over 4 oz) and will bring it up to his vet.
