    Affection Or Aggression?

Update: As of December, our cat's coming indoors and is doing great. I respect his space and let him approach me, which he does. His sweet and gentle nature are the same as ever, and he's gotten more playful. I let him approach to greet me and when he does, I crouch down or lean forward and let...

    Affection Or Aggression?

Now I sit on the chair and let my arms dangle when he's circling around, bunting and rubbing against my legs. I keep my fists lightly clenched, fingers out of sight, and he bunts, sniffs and gently licks my hands. Such a sweet boy.

    Affection Or Aggression?

Thank you, Ms. Aimee. This is very helpful! I'm older and tall and don't get up and down from the ground as easily as I used to. I'll try sitting on the porch steps and seeing if he comes to me there. I'll try holding out my fist, too. Thanks again!

    Affection Or Aggression?

I have a theory, but I'm interested in knowing what you all think. Over the past few weeks, since he's back from the vet, my (semi)feral Siamese cat Sandy has been showing affection and trust toward me by trilling and rubbing up against my legs and bunting when I'm sitting or standing. He's...

Flea, Tick, And Worm Prevention For Outdoor Cats

I can swing the cost, but the problem is my kitty cat is not transportable for a vet visit. So if I need a prescription for Bravecto, it's going to be a problem. :( However, I will try! I'll talk with my late dog's vet and see if he can help. Thanks!

Flea, Tick, And Worm Prevention For Outdoor Cats

Would I be able to get Revolution via Bestflea.com without a prescription, or is it just not possible without seeing a vet? I'm thinking of trying Advantage II, which is like Frontline only better reviews on Amazon. Thank you for all the helpful information!

Flea, Tick, And Worm Prevention For Outdoor Cats

Is there a flea/tick preventive treatment or medicine, over the counter, that you would recommend for me to give to my lovely feral boy? We're bonding, he comes to me for petting and bunting around mealtimes, so I could sneak on a topical if need be. I hear horror stories about violent side...

    Ferals And Cat Poop

I really do appreciate you encouragement! Kitty is happy, healthy and relatively safe on our property. Our neighbors love and keep an eye out for him, too, though he sticks around the periphery of the house, especially now that he's fixed.

    Ferals And Cat Poop

Thanks - very helpful! He seems to like the mulch, too, so that's a good thing. Easy to freshen up and replace.

    Ferals And Cat Poop

Thank you so much, Furballsmom! Your reply helps so much and brings me comfort. It's not a big deal, then. I can just keep and eye on things and clean up as necessary. Fortunately, no flies and no smell - but want to keep it that way! :)

    Ferals And Cat Poop

About three months ago, a beautiful Siamese cat appeared perched on our HVAC unit and never left. Long story short, he's now TNR'd with his shots and is back here on our property living the best life we can offer him. He and I are building trust and comfort and a routine together. Now that he...
