I like a lot of songs by Metallica. Fade to Black is a song that I can really relate to. As someone who is struggling with depression, the lyrics to that one are a pretty accurate description of my feelings. a few more of my favorites by Metallica:

Jayflower is a bit of a clairvoyant. Unfortunately my clairvoyant ability only seems to be for useless, unimportant things. Like for example, sometimes I'll be thinking about a song in my head, then I turn on the radio and that exact song just happens to be playing...stuff like that.

Hotaru likes to burrow underneath the blankets and there's been a few times when I've looked all over the apartment for her, only to find her underneath a blanket sleeping.

You could try a puzzle toy where you hide treats inside the toy, and she has to bat the toy around to get the treats out. Would getting a second cat so that she has another kitty to play with be an option?
